‘NCIS: Los Angeles’: Is Sean Connery’s Grandson Guest-starring in Season 13?

With details leaking out about the production of Season 13 of “NCIS: Los Angeles,” one of the guest stars could be the grandson of the late actor Sean Connery.

A Chris O’Donnell Fan Twitter account quickly picked up on an IMDB.com listing for one upcoming episode. The IMDB.com listing has Dashiell Connery for that episode’s entry, but there is no confirmation yet on his appearance. 

Also, the website lists the Season 13 episode as made in 2009. To find out what is true, “NCIS: Los Angeles fans will have to wait and see what is correct.

Sean Connery, Grandson Shared A Bond

The possible “NCIS: Los Angeles” star, who shares striking looks to his grandfather and strangely, late actor Luke Perry, is making an acting career. According to his social media posts, Dashiell had a close bond with his grandfather

In 2008, Dashiell was caught in the middle of a media storm, involving his father. At the time, Sean Connery’s first wife said that Jason Connery and Sean Connery were estranged. According to a July 2008 Sunday Times report, news reports said at the time that Jason Connery was cut out of Sean Connery’s will.

After the newspaper report, Jason Connery and Dashiell Connery made statements to support Sean Connery. They dismissed the allegations as false. Also, Sean Connery reportedly told the media at the time that the mud-slinging was due to his political connections and that the accusations were baseless.

When Sean Connery died Oct. 31, 2020 at age 90, Dashiell honored his grandfather on social media that day. According to entertainment website NickiSwift.com, Dashiell posted a solitary photo of Connery and the caption “Great Man.”

Fans sent words of support, some saying “my thoughts and prayers to you and your family,” and “Legend.” 

In 2010, Sean Connery told the Daily Record that he enjoyed kicking the ball around a bit with his grandson when he could.

Who Is ‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ Guest Star Connery?

The 24-year-old American actor is the only son of actors Jason Connery and Mia Sara. Their marriage lasted from 1996 to 2002. Famously, Dashiell Connery’s mom played the role of Sloane in the 1986 film “Ferris Bueller” with Matthew Broderick. 

Sara later married Brian Henson, the son of the late Muppets creator Jim Henson. She had a daughter with Henson named Amelia Jane.

Dashiell Connery had a small role in Jason Connery’s film directing debut with “Pandemic” in 2009. He also played a part in the Twenty One Pilot’s song video “My Blood.” Notably, he will have a guest appearance as Angus Nettle this year in the ABC series “The Rookie.” Also, he’s got a couple of films, “Clowning” and “I, Challenger” set to come out.
