What’s to come for NCIS: Los Angeles Season 13?
Callen (Chris O’ Donnell) believes that Hetty (Linda Hunt) is keeping secrets regarding his past. Katya (Jana Kolesarova) is on the run with Joelle (Elizabeth Bogush) attempting to capture her. Meanwhile, the team is trying to locate an informant who is in danger. Finally, Kensi (Daniela Ruah) and Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) are in talks about starting a family.
This season will mark the show’s historic milestone of 300 episodes. Show creators hinted that familiar faces will return for the special occasion.
“I always like to have fun when we hit those milestones. And, if possible, bring back familiar faces to celebrate,” executive producer R. Scott Gemmill told TVLine.
While we lost two series regulars, one actor has been promoted to a series regular. Recurring guest star Gerald McRaney, who played Retired Navy Admiral Hollace Kilbride, is joining the team. He first appeared on the show in 2014.
“When you have an actor of Gerald McRaney’s caliber, you do everything you can to make sure you get him as often as possible,” Gemmill explained to Deadline. “Admiral Kilbride has been an esteemed part of our universe for seven years now and we look forward to viewers seeing him come in and shake up our NCIS: LA world.”
‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ Fan Theories
NCIS: Los Angeles fans are already beginning to theorize new plots and storylines for this upcoming season. Part of the community online is speculating about future episodes and what can come next. While some people don’t follow the theories, some of the show’s creators and cast actually research them.
“You know it’s funny, I don’t pay a ton of attention to it. Some of the castmates do and the writers definitely pay attention to it and the producers,” O’ Donnell previously told ET Canada.
Although he doesn’t do deep dives into chat rooms, he does occasionally see fan theories on Instagram.
“For me, it’s a different world, it’s what I do, it’s my work,” he explained. “I go in and focus on playing the character that I’m playing and trying to understand the world that he’s in. I don’t think about the consequences of that at the time or how it’s going to impact fans and what their reactions are going to be.”
