Taking time away from the set of her hit CBS series NCIS: Los Angeles, Daniela Ruah is showing her support for her favorite soccer team.
“A jet-lagged baby, my hometown hoody, and a live stream of the game… LET’S GO PORTUGAL!” Daniela Ruah writes in the caption. The snapshot features Ruah posing in her Portugal team hoodie and balancing her laptop on her leg while lounging with one of her adorable kiddos.
Unfortunately, Portugal soccer team lost to Belgium yesterday 1-0. But the team will be playing in the World Cup Qualifiers on Matchday 4 against Ireland on September 1st.
Daniela Ruah On ‘NCIS: Los Angeles’
Daniela Ruah has been on the hit CBS series NCIS: Los Angeles since its first season in 2009. The show is the first spin-off of the NCIS franchise and follows the LA-based officials of Special Projects (OSP), which is a division of the Naval Criminal Investigation Services (NCIS).
Starring alongside Daniela Ruah on the show are LL Cool J, Chris O’Donnell, Eric Christian Olsen, Linda Hunt, and Gerald McRaney. The show has ran for twelve seasons so far and recently was renewed for its thirtieth season.
Daniela And Eric Discuss ‘NCIS: Hawai’i’ Spin-Off
Daniela Ruah and her co-star Eric Christian Olsen recently sat down with Entertainment Tonight to discuss the upcoming spin-off, NCIS: Hawai’i. During the interview, Eric states, “I think it’s an exciting opportunity because Hawaii is Hawaii. And if there’s anything that we want to watch on TV, it’s people in paradise running around catching bad guys.” Eric also noted that he considers the spin-off as a great opportunity for the franchise’s expansion.
Daniela then shares, “And we obviously know that the recipe for this franchise has worked quite nicely. I mean, we have 18 seasons [for NCIS], 12 seasons [for NCIS: LA], and seven for New Orleans. Now a new [series] is coming. It’s an attractive franchise. So hopefully they’ll do great.”
During the latest season of NCIS: Los Angeles, Daniela Ruah made her director debut. She spoke about the experience by noting, “this was more of a newborn passion that stemmed from opportunity. I’m in a position where I’ve been on a show for a long time and it is in fact really hard to get into directing on network television and after a few friends talking to me and explaining these things to me, it was like, ‘You know, you’re right. If I don’t grad this opportunity now, I may never have it again.’”
NCIS: New Orleans recently aired its series finale, with Daniela Ruah returning. Meanwhile, NCIS: Hawai’i announced its production is officially up and running. The upcoming spin-off is set to premiere this fall along with a new season of NCIS: Los Angeles and NCIS.
