On Saturday, August 19, the actor/rapper shared an epic video on Instagram. He was seen riding in a helicopter, and no this wasn’t a Sam Hanna moment.

‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ Stunt Work
Some networks prefer to leave the stunts to a trained professional. For NCIS: Los Angeles, LL Cool J does the majority of his stuntwork.
“You know, if a horse or a mule needs to kick me in the head I’ll use a stuntman,” he told the Daily Actor. “Let him go into a coma but I try to do the majority of my stunts because I want people to know that I’m invested in the character and I want to give them the real experience, you know. I wouldn’t have a stunt person on the stage rapping for me, you know what I’m saying? ‘Yo, go on tour for me. You look like me!’ So, I’d rather do my stunts when I can.”
Furthermore, his favorite stunt is sliding over car hoods.
“The other day I got to like slide over a trunk of a car chasing this bad, this girl, and she is in a Benz and I’m like sliding over the trunk. It was crazy. That was kind of cool. That was a lot of fun, a lot of fun,” he said.
Season 13 Details: Major Character Return
Firstly, most of the NCIS: Los Angeles core cast will be making a return! Even Linda Hunt, who only appeared in a smaller capacity last season due to the pandemic. Meanwhile, Eric actor Barrett Foa and Nell actress Reneé Felice Smith have left the show. Both series regulars plan to pursue other creative endeavors. Foa plans to work on theater while Smith wrote a children’s book.
Secondly, Gerald McRaney, who portrays Admiral Kilbride, has been promoted to a series regular for the upcoming season. NCIS: Los Angeles creator R. Scott Gemmill told TV Insider that his presence will make for interesting television. Will Hetty have an adversary?
“They’re both very smart and very stubborn, so it makes for a fun and volatile dynamic,” Gemmill said. “Kilbride outranks Hetty, but he does respect her, even if he disagrees with her methodology and [sometimes] questions the cost of her successes.”
