When the stars of “NCIS: Los Angeles” gather together and start quizzing one another, then you’re not sure what answers you will get.
This is something cast members did prior to the 2020 season opener in a video on CBS’s YouTube page.
“Who could last the longest going deep undercover?” LL Cool J, who plays Sam Hanna, asks his fellow “NCIS: Los Angeles” costars.
“I’m gonna go Daniela [Ruah] on this one,” Renee Felice Smith, who plays Nell Jones, says. “I think she’s a fine actor and can keep up the ruse long enough to get the info she needed to really crack that case.”
‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ Star Calls Herself ‘Worst Liar In The World’
“Not me,” Ruah, who plays Kensi Blye, replies. “I’m the worst liar in the world.”
“Wow…,” LL Cool J says before breaking into a laugh.
“NCIS: Los Angeles” costars not included in the fun here are Chris O’Donnell, who plays G. Callen, and Barrett Foa, who played Eric Beale. Note we said “played” for Foa as his character is written off the show after Beale leaves to start his own company.
The show, which is a spinoff from “NCIS,” will come back for its 13th season in the fall on CBS. All “NCIS”-related shows air on CBS, including a new spinoff called “NCIS: Hawai’i.”
Last season, “NCIS: New Orleans” ends a seven-season run on CBS since the show wasn’t renewed. Scott Bakula starred in the lead role.
“NCIS: Los Angeles” is the standard-bearer for spinoffs from the original show. It’s been on for 12 seasons and will be back for another run in the fall. This means the show’s fans can expect to see actress Linda Hunt, who plays Henrietta “Hetty” Lange, back as well.
Chris O’Donnell Says He’d Gladly Take A Secret Hideaway For His Life
Smith asks her costars another important question. “Who is most likely to have a secret hideaway like the boat shed?” she says to the “NCIS: Los Angeles” cast.
“I’d like to have a secret hideaway,” O’Donnell says. “Chaos here and I go home and there’s chaos at home with dogs and kids and everything. I could probably use a little secret hideaway so I might keep that one for myself.”
“I’d say it’s Chris O’Donnell,” Foa says. “He’s like a man cave kind of guy.”
“Without a doubt, that would definitely be Callen,” LL Cool J says. “G. Callen all day long.”
“That guy would live in a van if he could,” Smith says. “Have this secret hideaway, get creative, and do his magic,” Ruah says.
So, if anyone considers making a secret hideaway, then hit up O’Donnell to see if he’s all in on the deal. The “NCIS: Los Angeles” star appears to be one guy in need of a place like it in his life.
