‘NCIS: Los Angeles’: When Does the Next Episode Air?

By now NCIS: Los Angeles fans have figured out that there is no new episode this week if they didn’t see the news earlier this week. The show went on a short hiatus for a CBS special event featuring Adele.

While there is a drought of Marty Deeks and company this week, there is a new episode on the horizon. Fans will just have to wait for next Sunday to get their fix. It will be November 21 at 9 PM ET and the show returns in a big way. There is a storyline with Deeks and Byle figuring out their family situation. The fallout of the Laura Song saga, and a bomb on a bus. Here’s the synopsis.

Sundown: Sam negotiates and Rountree goes undercover, when a man takes a busload of hostages and threatens to blow it up unless his daughter’s war crimes are posthumously cleared, on the CBS Original Series NCIS: LOS ANGELES, Sunday, Nov. 21 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and available to stream live and on-demand on Paramount+.”

Oh, and if that isn’t enough drama, Rountree finds himself in an undercover role. However, Rountree might have bitten off a bit more than he can chew. The episode title, Sundown doesn’t give us too much information, unfortunately. Surely there will be some sneak peeks released as the week goes on. Keep up with Outsider for any of those updates.

With the Adele special tonight, there just wasn’t room for NCIS: Los Angeles this week. Besides, a one-week break will make the return that much better. With such an emotional episode last week, the break feels appropriate. Now fans can digest all of that and more from this season before the show makes its return.

‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ Got Very Emotional Last Week

Last week, after the Laura Song ordeal, there was an investigation. During the questioning, Deeks had to sit down and go over his side of things. In the NCIS: Los Angeles scene, Eric Christian Olsen just brings emotion and realness. It was one of his best performances as he explained the situation and his relationship with Agent Blye. With Song’s daughter seemingly alone now, it has made Deeks rethink his family plans, or perhaps his professional plans.

Fans were in their feelings after the episode aired and when the Instagram page shared the clip again, it made those emotions come back. Christian Olsen has already won over the fanbase, but this was just another example of why the show is in season 13.

When NCIS: Los Angeles does return next week we are going to get some resolution and likely more problems. With a bomb on a bus and so much else going on, who knows what will happen.
