Early Friday, she posted a photo to Instagram from Kefalonia, Greece. In this photo, she poses near a creek in the warm sunshine. And she’s also sporting a one-piece swimsuit with a camouflage theme. Because of her camo, she blends perfectly with her surroundings. The second photo in her gallery shows Paly in the sunshine.
She captioned the gallery: “camouflaging.”
Back in sunny California, Bar Paly plays Anna, a recurring character on NCIS: Los Angeles. She truly has an international background, being that she was born in Russia and raised in Israel. Five years ago, she became a United States citizen.
Earlier this week, Paly posted a photo from Delphi, Greece. Wearing a crisp white sundress, Paly posed in front of the Temple of Apollo. She captioned it: “The temple of #Apollo. (8th century B.C.) Home to the Oracle of #Delphi. To think about all the kings and rulers who did the pilgrimage here to consult the Oracle on so many historical events (like the Trojan war, she was quite the trouble maker & had enormous influence). #MindBlown #HistoryIsCool #AncientGreece.”
And on the Fourth of July, the NCIS: Los Angeles cast member showed off her patriotism along with a nod to the Navy with a picture of herself in a red swimsuit and a nautical captain’s hat. She captioned the photo: “Red, White & Blue. Happy Birthday America.”
On NCIS: Los Angeles, Paly Plays Freelance Agent
On NCIS: Los Angeles, Bar Paly plays Anna Kolcheck, the on-again, off-again girlfriend of Chris O’Donnell’s Callen. And she’s the daughter of fan-favorite Arkady Kolcheck.
Although Paly’s Anna is a recurring, her character is important to the plot. So far, she has 25 episodes on her NCIS: Los Angeles resume. She joined the series in season six. Her last appearance on the show this season was the episode The Noble Maidens.
Meanwhile, O’Donnell recently talked about his character’s relationship with Anna on NCIS: Los Angeles. In an interview with CBS-Los Angeles, O’Donnell said:
“Callen got to the point in the relationship where he felt (Anna) was the one. He was ready to take the next step and he went up to propose to her. It turned out she wasn’t where she said she was, she’s never been there. There are things that she’s hiding from him. He’s had to deal with that. A former love of his has come into the picture.
“In the (episodes) coming up, he’s got to use who we thought was going to be a future wife as bait to help rescue somebody else,” said the NCIS: Los Angeles star said. “There’s a lot going on, there’s this whole Russian storyline that’s been developed over the years. Suddenly Callen has been accused of being a Russian spy. The actions he’s taking once he’s accused are tough to defend. He’s kind of got himself into a bit of a mess here.
