Behind every great man is a great woman, right? There’s no denying that the same proverb can be said for NCIS star Brian Dietzen.

Brian Dietzen has been playing the role of Dr. Jimmy Palmer on the CBS show NCIS since 2004. Although he began in more of a supporting role, Dr. Palmer was eventually promoted to a series regular in 2012. That was the beginning of the hit show’s 12th season.

All of you loyal NCIS fans out there probably know Dr. Palmer’s backstory. But for those who do not, Palmer began as an assistant under the direction of Dr. Donald “Ducky” Mallard, who was the Chief Medical Examiner at the time. It wasn’t until in Season 15 that Ducky announces his retirement from the role. As a result, Dietzen’s character was officially promoted.

Since that time, Brian Dietzen has grown into a star and a fan-favorite character on NCIS. But what makes him such a genuine and grounded individual? We don’t often hear a lot about Dietzen’s married life but there is no doubt that his wife, Kelly Dietzen, has helped mold him into who he is today. Down below we take a look back through some of their photos together over the last couple of years.

‘NCIS’ Star Takes a Hike with His Wife

The first photo we are looking at comes from a few months ago. Brian Dietzen and his wife seem to be hiking at Big Bear Lake in Southern California.

Dietzen captioned the photo, “First hiatus hike was in Big Bear with the best person I know. Here’s to many, many more. Love you Kel.”

Brian and Kelly’s Love Has Gotten Them Through Challenges

There is no questioning the love between Brian and Kelly Dietzen. For the most part, it seems like the happy couple really values their privacy. But every once in a while we get a sneak peek into what’s going on thanks to Dietzen’s official social media accounts. We got another glimpse a while back in the form of an adorable beach sunset photo.

“2020 has presented us with so many challenges and so much division. I hope we can each still enjoy our moments of bliss whenever they present themselves. Love you Kel.”

Merry Christmas

Like all of you Outsiders out there, the Dietzen family is a big fan of the holidays. Brian and Kelly share two children together and that makes the holiday season all the more special. The NCIS actor posted another picture with his wife a couple of years ago during the Christmas season.

“Love. And Christmas Hope you have a merry one.”
