Why is the NCIS: New Orleans finale potentially being delayed?
“First of all, I want to say thank you for being by our side for 7 amazing years! It’s been a great journey, often a rollercoaster ride, but it’s been worth it! I am very excited for you to see the finale, as we were able to bring the soul of the city back to the screen after a difficult year of restrictions and COVID challenges.”
Bakula revealed that “there is a good chance” that the show will be preempted tomorrow night. The reason? extended golf coverage on CBS network. The PGA Live Championship will air on the network and will likely go beyond its originally scheduled air time.
“The finale will air on Monday night, after All Rise finale,” he revealed. “It will be a last-minute decision, so please, spread the word!! You’ll have to tune in tomorrow night, but if we’re not there, you won’t panic or throw anything at the TV!”
He added that he doesn’t want anyone to miss it or be disappointed.
“This last show is for all of you and for the city of New Orleans and all of the wonderful musicians who shared their immense talents with all of us,” he concluded.
The NCIS: New Orleans Cast Says Goodbye
The cast have been paying tribute to their characters and their time on the show.
C.C.H. Pounder (Loretta) knows just how magical the city of New Orleans is. She recently told The Real about her current living situation.
“[when] I started NCIS I had a very ill husband […] and I said, ‘honey we need to make some major money so that you can extend your life a little bit. And that’s what NCIS did for me. It’s a huge gift that I got from NCIS,” she shared.
Pounder revealed that she will continue to live in the Big Easy after the show. She bought a home with her husband who passed there and doesn’t want to go home to an empty house in Los Angeles.
Daryl Mitchell (Patton Plame) shared a photo of him leaving the set.
“This was my home for 7 years my heart💔 is so heavy 😞,” he wrote. “So hard when this is over, I will always love my cast, and crew.”
Finally, Rob Kerkovich, paid tribute to his beloved lab set.
“Today was a series wrap on the Lab Set,” he shared. “I spat out a lot of scientific gibberish here, and for my first two seasons, I was probably in here 90% of the time. My first memories of the show formed in this spot… RIP. Also, I guess my arms are as long as my legs?“
