A former cast member from “NCIS: New Orleans” is feeling nostalgic about his time on the popular CBS crime drama. On Saturday, the actor who starred as Patton Plame in the drama posted a picture, showing fans what they miss whenever they watched an episode.
“These are the people that brought you @ncisnola every week giving them some love,” he wrote in the caption alongside a snap of the production crew from “NCIS: New Orleans.”
Although the show aired its series final in May, many users in the comments section were quick to offer their praise to the crew from behind the scenes. “Been watching it since Episode 1, forever my favorite show,” one grateful user wrote. Someone else shared the same sentiment, writing, “I don’t want this show to end. Maybe you will get your own spinoff.”
While we’re not sure if fans can expect a reboot or its own spinoff, some online users and outlets have speculated that there could be a potential crossover with an upcoming spinoff from the NCIS universe.
‘NCIS: New Orleans’ Fans Wonder if former Cast Will Make Upcoming Appearance
After CBS announced that fans would be getting an all-new, female-led NCIS spinoff, “NCIS: Hawai’i'” fans took to the internet to pose questions asking if they would see any former “NCIS: New Orleans” cast members make an appearance.
With the offshoot heading to airwaves this fall,” NCIS” producers Jan Nash and Christopher Silber recently gave their thoughts on whether or not fans can see the former team stopping by for a visit.
Although the Big Easy version of the CBS drama came to an end after just seven, its sister series, such as “NCIS: Los Angeles,” still dominates the ratings.
So it’s only natural for fans to speculate about whether or not “NCIS: New Orleans” plotlines will overlap with LA and now Hawaii. As the Hawaii team gears up to make their first appearance in the season premiere of the original series, many fans can’t help but wonder what’s next for Pride, Sebastian Lund (Rob Kerkovich), and Loretta Wade (CCH Pounder.)
During an interview with TV Insider, producer Jan Nash and showrunner Christopher Silber went into detail about what to expect. When asked about crossing over with other NCIS shows such as Hawaii, Silber teased, saying, “Never say never.”
He continued: “I’ll be a hundred percent honest with you. We are happy for all crossovers. It’s fun.”
Indeed, the long-running CBS universe has featured several crossover events in the past. Viewers saw this recently when team leader Leroy Gibbs, played by Mark Harmon, caught up with Pride in the season five opener of 2018, titled, “See You Soon.”
The series has also crossed over with several other shows outside of the central NCIS universe.
