Life is pretty great for NCIS: New Orleans star Lucas Black right now. There’s no question he has a lot to be thankful for this year.
It’s Thanksgiving and we all have reasons to be thankful. That goes especially so for NCIS: New Orleans star Lucas Black. Not only did he star on the NCIS spin-off from 2014 until 2019, but he has also made appearances in numerous other television shows and movies. Some of his work includes things like American Gothic, Sling Blade, Flash, Crazy in Alabama, All the Pretty Horses, Friday Night Lights, Jarhead, The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, Get Low, Legion, and Seven Days in Utopia.
However, it’s not just the impressive acting career that Lucas Black has going for him. The 38-year-old actor also has a beautiful family that enjoys spending quality time together. And that is the whole meaning of Thanksgiving.
The NCIS: New Orleans alum took to social media on Thursday to post some photos of him, his wife, and his kids all on a Thanksgiving Day hike. Let us be the first to say that you will definitely want to check these pictures out. Black, an avid outdoorsman, posted photos of some beautiful mountains, trees, and leaves changing colors, and even a waterfall.
“Happy Thanksgiving y’all! #Thankful #Thanksgiving #Godisgood”
Even though Lucas Black is no longer on NCIS: New Orleans, fans of the show still have a lot of love for him and his family.
“Absolutely beautiful! Nature and Family,” one fan commented. “Happy Thanksgiving!”
“Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours,” another fan said. “Be safe and enjoy your family time.”
“Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. You are such an inspiration,” responded a third person.
‘NCIS: New Orleans’ Star Puts Food on the Table
We don’t know if Lucas Black and his family will be having turkey, ham, or deer this year for Thanksgiving dinner. But we do know one thing, they will have plenty of deer meat available if they choose to have that.
Last weekend Lucas Black and his son Gus put down a couple of deer. As a matter of fact, it was the six-year-old’s first-ever deer he shot. As for dad, though, he put down a small buck that will put food on his family’s dinner table for months to come.
“I stepped into the woods and deer spooked everywhere. This one didn’t get away. He will provide organic meat for my family’s table! The 270 Kimber is made in Younkers, NY. Made in USA baby.”
