‘NCIS: New Orleans’ Star Reveal What They’ll Miss Most About Filming in the City Ahead of Series Finale

NCIS: New Orleans is coming to an end soon. In fact, there is only one more episode left of the series left to air. The crime drama has provided some excellent memories over its seven seasons.

More importantly, the Louisiana city has provided a great home for the show. Many of the show’s actors and crew are feeling bittersweet about the series finale. The city became their home over the years, and it loved them right back.

The city provided the quintessential backdrop for NCIS: New Orleans. Not only was it the set, but it gave the show a unique character. Many of the prominent facades around the city were featured in episodes of the show. And more importantly, the New Orleans culture was injected into the drama.

Recently, some of the stars of the show sat down with CBS for an interview. During the interview, they all talked about how much they are going to miss the city. Each had their own take on what the city has meant to them.

“You know, seven years is a long time to be anywhere away from home. And this was the big surprise with New Orleans. It’s really grown on me,” CCH Pounder, who plays Dr. Loretta Wade, said of the city. “You know, I got a house here, and I really decided to love the one you’re with. So, while I’m in New Orleans, I’m going to settle in. It has been a great blessing for me.”

“NCIS: New Orleans” Star, Scott Bakula, Offered His Thoughts on the Louisiana City

Scott Bakula also chimed in with his thoughts on New Orleans. He talked about the amazing memories he has had over the years as part of NCIS: New Orleans.

“I’ve just had some amazing, amazing experiences down here with the music and with the musicians, and that there’s a deep resonating kind of gratitude for me from that,” said Bakula, who plays Special Agent Dwayne Pride.

Bakula also talked about the people in New Orleans. The city certainly means a lot to the star of the show, and he gave a shoutout to how cool the people are. Additionally, he talked about how great it was to have some unique contributions from people in the city.

“Having Dr. John on the show, having folks from The Meters, and the Nevilles, and the Marsalises, just all these different legendary groups of people and single people.”

Many of the other stars of the show shared their feelings about leaving NCIS: New Orleans. They also all talked about what the city meant to them.
