We know NCIS fans are anxiously awaiting next Monday’s episode. But we’ve got even more details beyond what you’ll see.
This coming Monday, the NCIS episode is called Road to Nowhere. But we’ve got more details about that road. In the next ep, called Great Wide Open, the path leads to Alaska, where Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and McGee (Sean Murray) go on a very long road trip. It’s still all about getting information on the serial killer, Paul Lemere (Jason Wiles).
The NCIS spoiler details were provided by Matt and Jess, TV Commentary. The site reports that “based on some early suggestions from producers, it sounds like this is a four-episode arc and there could be questions aplenty about the future of Gibbs after the fact.”
Mark Harmon has been front and center of the first two episodes of NCIS season 19. And the trailer for episode three keeps Gibbs involved. Sounds like episode four also is Gibbs-centric. Since reports all summer suggested that Harmon would be involved this season for only a handful of episodes, you have to wonder how much more we’ll see him beyond the middle of October.
In episode two, we finally learn the identity of the killer. He apparently is a contract killer, as opposed to someone who murders based on a whim or emotion. The place Lemere rented revealed that he tortured his victims before he bound their hands and feet in red duct tape then tossed their bodies.
NCIS episode three tells us more about Lemere. At the end of Monday’s episode, Lemore escaped the interrogation room and grabbed Kasie (Diona Reasonover) by the neck. He threatened to kill her as the NCIS agents pointed guns at him. Gibbs walked into the office and shot Lemere. But, we can see from the trailers, he survived.
The synopsis for next Monday says Road to Nowhere – “Gibbs and Parker go on a road trip to find one of the serial killer’s victims. Also, Agent Knight goes undercover at a large manufacturing company with ties to the murders.”
So that means Gibbs and Jimmy (Brian Dietzen), the medical examiner, are off in search of one of the victims. Knight (Katrina Law) goes on her first undercover assignment as part of NCIS.
Rocky Carroll, who plays Vance, directs this NCIS episode. In early hints, we know that Alden Park (Gary Cole) talks to Lemere in the hospital, telling him that the FBI/NCIS has him on seven murders. Gibbs disappears, again, and he’s with Lemere when the killer gets out of the hospital. However, we don’t know why the two are together.
Stay tuned to Monday’s episode. And then, it’s off to Alaska. In the meantime, here’s the NCIS trailer to get you through the next few days.
