“NCIS” is one of CBS‘s current longest-running shows on the network. As such, fans have watched beloved characters come and go over the show’s enduring 19 seasons. Additionally, many Outsiders have mourned the loss of numerous “NCIS” characters. Although the majority miss the fan-favorite couple Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David most of all.

Season 19 has just kicked off. And, of course, our favorite cast members and alum are igniting a frenzy across social media via incredibly vague posts. On Wednesday, “NCIS” alum Michael Weatherly (Tony DiNozzo) posted a throwback photo of his character and fellow “NCIS” alum, Cote de Pablo (Ziva David). The stirring photo came from the hallmark 200th episode of the hit series. In it, Gibbs imagines his team in alternate realities.

Of the photo and the episode overall, Weatherly wrote, “Let’s just say…they ended up in Paris. Anyone think that’s a possibility?” Immediately fans began bombarding the post with comments, prodding the actor for more information about a potential #TIVA return.

However, it wasn’t until current “NCIS” star Brian Dietzen, who plays Medical Examiner Dr. Jimmy Palmer, added fuel to the fire that fans truly went wild.

Below the post, Dietzen cryptically commented, “Ziva loves Paris.” Thanks, Jimmy, but what does that point to?

Fans, as always, came in clutch with potential theories. One fan pointed out, “He used present tense when he spoke that sentence. I instantly knew her story, their story, wasn’t done yet!” Another “NCIS” fan wrote, “A phrase that obviously means more than even the most diehard of us fans understand…yet…”

Should we hear more, we’ll definitely update Outsiders on the #TIVA potential return status.

‘NCIS’ Heads Far North in Coming Weeks

Meanwhile, we continue to wait for further hints suggesting a very long-awaited TIVA return, our current crew pursues a much different route in the coming weeks.

Season 19 of “NCIS” finally graced us with its premiere two weeks ago already. Its third brand new episode premieres this coming Monday. And we are more than glad to see the “NCIS” team reunite with the iconic Leroy Jethro Gibbs. However, we now finally have a face to place with the name of our elusive serial killer.

Last week, we learned the serial killer, Paul Lemere, works as a contract killer. This differs him from an impulsive one, fired by personal ambitions. And this week, we can expect to learn more about the killer.

However, as we head into the chilly month of October, we can provide a little insight into “NCIS” season 19 episode 4. And boy does it really get cold. In next week’s episode, “Road to Nowhere,” we learn Gibbs and Palmer go on a road trip. The pair intends to track down one of Lemere’s victims. While we’re sure the episode promises to be as adrenaline-fueled as any other, it’s the following week’s that truly takes us out of “NCIS” comfort zones.

The fourth episode of the new season, titled “Great Wide Open,” takes Gibbs and McGee on an intense road trip, putting them much farther north in Alaska. Of course, we can assume the duo continues the hunt for information surrounding the serial killer.

So, as we head into October and “NCIS” heads north, be sure to grab your coziest blanket ahead of the next few episodes.
