Ozzy Osbourne, self-proclaimed “Prince of Darkness” and Black Sabbath lead, built quite the reputation for himself over the years. While the star doesn’t typically spend a lot of time on social media, he has quite an impressive following nonetheless. When Osbourne does take to Twitter, it’s usually to share a photo.
His latest post shared to his whopping 5.3 million followers credits a photographer he has built a strong relationship with, Ross Halfin. Standing in front of a simple background, Ozzy Osbourne’s iconic eye makeup and piercing stare are hard to miss. The star is seen sporting a black graphic button-up shirt with a peculiar pattern of hearts mixed with smoking pursed lips covered by X’s. The star is also adorned by a variety of jewelry and accessories.
No More Tours For Ozzy Osbourne?
With a prolific career spanning over five decades, Ozzy Osbourne is gearing up to retire. The rock star has at least one more tour left in him, however, and it’s set to kick off at the very start of 2022 in January. Aptly named the “No More Tours 2” Tour, Osbourne will hit several European countries including Germany, Spain, Italy, and Sweden. It also wouldn’t be an Ozzy tour unless he covered his old stomping grounds in the UK.
The tour was actually announced all the way back in 2018 but faced continuous massive setbacks. First, an accident displaced metal rods in Osbourne’s back. Subsequently, the first delay involved his recovery from that accident. By the time he got better, the pandemic caused another delay in touring. They say the third time’s a charm, so hopefully, that will be the case this time around.
Joining Ozzy Osbourne on the road, is long-time partner and friend, Zakk Wylde. Wylde tells Loudwire “Ozz is getting himself back healthy, and then we’ll be back out on the road.”
The Osbournes Have Their Demons
The Osbournes collectively captivated audiences worldwide with their past reality TV series as a family. While that’s pretty much in the past, the family has ventured into new TV territory with a show following the paranormal. The Travel Channel hosts “The Osbournes Want to Believe,” which actually premiers its second season tonight. The premise is simple. A full-fledged believer, Jack Osbourne, tries to convince his skeptical parents Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne that the paranormal exists.
Jack tells the network “My parents have always lived on the edge, even when it comes to believing in the supernatural. I’m convinced they just haven’t seen enough evidence, so I’m making them watch the most undeniable footage caught on camera, including a few from my own personal experiences. My biggest challenge may be keeping their comments family-friendly. It will be a classic Osbourne gathering!”
