It’s a gorgeous “Montana Morning” with this fantastic vista courtesy of actress Patricia Heaton‘s latest photograph.
Over on her official Instagram, Patricia Heaton is living her best life courtesy of her Sunday “#MontanaMorning.”
The self-professed “Lady actor, non-imbibing bourbon lover, boy breeder, sparring partner to @huntyboy1966” shares a shot that might as well be a poster for the glories of Montana – one of the most gorgeous places on Earth. Her photo has it all: misty mountains, towering pines, and perfect morning clouds:
Her Montana morning comes after a major milestone, too: Patricia Heaton is celebrating three years of sobriety from alcohol this summer. In July, the 63-year-old actress took to her Instagram to tell her 199k followers that she had “A lot to celebrate this month.”
“Hello, friends! I’m just finishing up my, what, 3½-mile walk around the reservoir. And it’s July, when we celebrate our nation’s freedom. Also, [I’m] celebrating three years of freedom from alcohol for me. So I just want to share that with you,” Heaton tells her fans within.
Then, the Carol’s Second Act alum offers her help to anyone else struggling with alcohol addiction:
“Message me if you are thinking about doing that and if you are doing that now and you need some encouragement or anything at all,” she concludes her video – which you can watch here.
Patricia Heaton is a True Outsider
While promoting her book, Your Second Act: Inspiring Stories of Reinvention, in 2020, Heaton told People that she has “lived a life beyond my wildest dreams and I’m so grateful.”
“Life wasn’t handed to me on a silver platter by any stretch. I’ve worked hard, skinned my knees, cried my eyes out, regretted, doubted, and second-guessed myself along the way,” she told the trade. Spoken like a true Outsider! It’s all about perseverance.
“I’ve gone up and down many different paths; looking back, I see how the seed for my second act was clearly planted in my first act,” Heaton continues for People. She also eludes to the cancellation of her CBS sitcom Carol’s Second Act in May of 2020 as a sort of “reset” – which may be the bridge between acts for the actress. That perseverance came through, however, and she was able to see the positive.
“There are these little funerals you have to have for certain dreams… Because that’s how you make way for new things,” she says. In this light, Heaton saw the cancellation as less of a “midlife crisis” and more of a “moment of reinvention.”
This, she says, is achievable “at any age and at any time”. It’s true for the actress, at the least, as Patricia Heaton is Set for Her TV Return with New Comedy on Fox: Report.
“Just get out there and embrace your life!” she offers. Outsider motto, right there. And there’s no better place to do so than the wilds of Montana.
