Former Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning has kept up his workout regiment during retirement. He recently was caught showing off his six-pack abs on the beach.

TMZ Sports posted photo evidence on Twitter showing off the 44-year-old’s ripped physique.

“Peyton Manning Has a 6-Pack?! QB Flexes Impressive Physique On Beach Vacay,” the account tweeted.

Then again, the photo comes as a bit of a surrise to fans on Twitter, as Manning was never really showed his physique off during his playing career. As a matter of fact, Manning’s Broncos teammates joked about that very thing in an NFL Films segment from 2016.

Twitter quickly weighed in

Fans on Twitter didn’t waste any time giving their opinions of Manning’s new look.

“Peyton Manning? More like Baeton Manning,” one user said.

“Lol Peyton in better shape now than his entire playing career. That’s crazy.”

“Colts fans, you taking 2020 Peyton Manning over 2020 Phillip Rivers?”

“I have to admit that despite his being the goat – my expectations of Peyton Manning shirtless were more of the #DadBod variety. I’m okay with being wrong. #PeytonManning #PFM #DenverBroncos.”

Another joked, “People laughed in my face when I told them I was getting in ‘Peyton Manning’ shape.”

One user tweeted at the New York Giants telling them to sign the former MVP and Super Bowl champ.

“@Giants sign him right now! #GiantsChat #TogetherBlue,” he tweeted. Manning’s younger brother Eli played for the Giants from 2004 to 2019, leading them to two Super Bowls in 2007, and 2011, respectively.

Another user tweeted “Getting ready for that Canton suit fitting.” Manning is a first-ballot hall of famer with multiple NFL records to his name. He will be eligible for the hall of fame in 2021.

Manning retired from the NFL after the 2015 season when he led the Broncos to a Super Bowl 50 victory over the Carolina Panthers. He also led the Indianapolis Colts to a Super Bowl victory over the Chicago Bears in Super Bowl 41.
