“I had Clara in my lap as a baby doing press at Cannes for Trainspotting,” McGregor told The Hollywood Reporter. “Ultimately, through all of that craziness and that time, I had that sort of safety line through my life, which was my work and family, that I could latch onto.”

Furthermore, Clara knew from a young age that she wanted to follow her father’s career path. Aside from acting, which is her first passion, she also models and works behind the scenes of movies.

“Growing up my parents would show me great films – I’d watch Charlie Chaplin, It’s a Wonderful Life, Harvey, The 400 Blows and a lot of French Cinema as well,” she told Wonderland. “I fell in love with film then, but even more so after visiting my father at work and seeing how it all happens. I was in awe on movie sets and always knew I had to end up on one.”
