You can’t keep the Prince of Darkness down. Ozzy Osbourne shares his new look with fans. The 72-year-old rock star has gone silver fox but maintaining his trademark black fingernails and mascara.
Osbourne had a rough 2020 with various ailments. Doctors diagnosed him with Parkinson’s disease in 2019, which he shared with the rest of the world in early 2020. The singer also experienced a neck injury that caused him to cancel the North American leg of his No More Tours II tour. Osbourne designed that touring as his final farewell to touring and life on the road.
Osbourne spent most of the year with his family during the pandemic. The rockstar was unable to seek treatment for his neck due to the COVID-19 lockdown. But Osbourne appears to be doing better these days and is working on new music again. He doesn’t plan to retire any time soon.
“You know the time when I will retire? When I can hear them nail a lid on my box. And then I’ll f—ing do an encore. I’m the Prince of Darkness,” Osbourne told the Daily Mail. He plans to complete his tour in 2022.
Ozzy Osbourne Has Gone Gray
Ozzy Osbourne’s new look was captured last summer. A tabloid photographer took a photo of the rockstar with gray hair. The image was circulated widely on the internet with many people commenting on it. At the time, Osbourne’s son Jack came to his father’s defense. He angrily called out the photographers for an invasion of privacy.
“In case you haven’t noticed, it is not really recommended for people with Parkinson’s to go get their hair dyed during a f—king global pandemic,” he wrote. “Just because my father’s hair isn’t his normal color at the moment doesn’t mean s–t. He’s 71 and recovering from severe spine surgery, moreover he’s on vacation. It’s amazing that he can have a 50-year career, selling millions of albums and all that you a–holes wanna talk about [is] his hair roots.”
But Osbourne has embraced the new look for now and looks regal with the new look. The rockstar has been working on a new album he plans to release in the near future.
