Priscilla Presley is saying goodbye to her palatial estate in Beverly Hills. The home was sold for less than what Presley was asking for.

Elvis Presley’s ex-wife originally listed the Spanish-style home in September 2020 for $16 million. Then in November, Priscilla dropped the price to $14.5 million. However, she ultimately sold the lavish estate for $13 million in December 2020, according to Taste of Country.

Beverly Hills Mansion: Details

The home that Priscilla Presley called her “sanctuary” is 8,952-feet and has 7 bedrooms and 8.5 bathrooms. A privacy gate sits in front of the house, tucking the home away from the public. It was built in 1951 but has been maintained and updated over the years. Central air runs throughout the house. Plus there’s parking for 8 vehicles.

The property is 1.08 acres and is in one of the most exclusive zip codes, 90210. Beautiful landscape, including vines, trees, and flowers complete the grounds. Stone walkways lead from one area of the grounds to the next. There’s also an immaculate looking pool, a tennis court, and an outdoor fireplace.

A sign over the fireplace reads “Villa Nostra.” Presley tells Closer in a 2018 interview the meaning behind the sign.

“When I had more family here, there was a cozy feeling, and that’s why I put ‘Villa Nostra’ [above the fireplace]. It means ‘Our Home’ in Italian,” she says, laughing, “It’s not ‘Cosa Nostra,’ the Mafia!”

The inside of the mansion continues to show off the European theme. Vaulted ceilings and exposed beams adorn show off on the inside. Additionally, polished dark hardwood floors, oversized windows, and arched openings give the house a European-type of feeling.

Rounding out the residence is formal living, dining spaces, and fireplaces. In 1992 Priscilla Presley hired an Italian architect to help her design a second floor with a library, two bedrooms, and a sweeping Italian-tiled staircase. The master bathroom includes an oversized sunken tub as well as a vanity area. Moreover, most of the interior rooms open to porches that overlook the lush estate.

Priscilla Presley Downsizing to Penthouse

Presley recently downsized to a 3,200-square-foot penthouse in Century City, according to Dirt.com. The stylish residence in Le Parc was built in 1979. However, it underwent a full renovation.

The listing describes it as an “Exquisite European contemporary penthouse.” The 3,200-square-foot unit now shows off Prescilla’s taste. Pale pink walls and pink velvet couches stand out. Plus pops of blues and lavenders and wallpaper decorate the rest of the penthouse.
