Are you in the market for designer clothes? How about some fine furniture? What about unique antique pieces? If so, Priscilla Presley’s upcoming estate sale just might be for you.
According to an article on CountryMusicNation.com, Elvis Presley’s ex-wife is planning to sell numerous items from her Beverly Hills mansion she recently put up for sale for almost $16 million. Priscilla reportedly came to own many of these pieces by purchasing them from other estate sales. The article also reports that she is selling the items so others can find joy from them.
“Yes, it’s true. I’m doing an estate sale. It’s an eclectic mix of country and Ralph Lauren with a little bit of the vacation homes that I played house at,” Priscilla Presley reportedly said on social media. According to the article, the post has since been deleted.
Want to Attend Priscilla Presley’s Sale?
So, you want to attend Priscilla Presley’s “garage sale.” How do you make that happen? Originally, the sale was going to be open to the public by appointment only. Appointments had to be made by Friday (Feb. 12).
However, Munyon & Sons Estate Sale Services, the agency handling the sale, has changed the sale to online only. This change reportedly occurred because of the interest in the sale and the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Because of the amount of people who want to attend this sale and because of BH COVID 19 PROTOCOLS, this estate sale cannot be conducted as a ‘by appointment only’ sale where you come to the sale and directly purchase the items,” the company’s website states.
In addition, the company is describing the sale as “unprecedented and rare.”
“Munyon & Sons is pleased and honored to announce an unprecedented and rare sale of the legendary and incomparable contents of the Priscilla Presley Estate along with hundreds of items from her other previous homes,” the website says describing the sale. “The sprawling Villa Nostra hilltop estate is filled with her personally selected treasures and has been the home of Mrs. Presley for nearly fifty years.”
‘Garage Sale’ Begins Feb. 18
Presley is reportedly holding the estate sale next week. The dates are Thursday (Feb. 18) through Sunday (Feb. 21). For more information, visit the Munyon & Sons Estate Sale Services website.
