On Tuesday night, Priscilla Presley shared a sweet memory of her mother with her favorite Italian band only a day after she passed away.

Presley’s mother, Anna Lillian Iversen, died on Monday night at the age of 95. However, Elvis Presley’s ex-wife was thinking fondly of her mother tonight and posted a sweet picture of her on Twitter. Her mom was in attendance at an Il Volo concert and looked tickled to share a moment mid-show with one of the Italian singers.

Evidently, Iversen is a huge fan of the Italian pop trio called Il Volo. The group sings operatic pop, or as they call it “popera.” The group has risen to fame in the last decade and is made up of tenors Piero Barone and Ignazio Boschetto, and baritone Gianluca Ginoble.

While attending one of Il Volo’s concerts, singer Ignazio Boschetto came out into the crowd and serenaded Priscilla Presley’s mother. In the picture, Boschetto takes Iversen’s hand as he sings to her. Iversen is clearly happy as can be in the moment. As Presley said in her tweet, her mother “adored” the three Italian singers.

Although Priscilla Presley is heartbroken over her mother’s passing, it’s nice to see her recalling good memories. In addition to the touching memory, Presley also wished her mother a happy birthday just a few months ago.

In March, Iversen turned 95, and The King’s famous ex-wife shared a hilarious birthday message with her followers.

“HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our beautiful Mom,” Presley captioned an Instagram birthday photo of Iversen. “Ninety five today! She can’t believe it! I asked her, ‘Mom, how old are you?’ She said, ‘I don’t know… 50?’ Mom, you’re 95!! She said, ‘WHAT!! Oh boy, I’m old!’”

Priscilla Presley Announces Her Mother’s Death: ‘I Am Heartbroken’

On Monday night, Priscilla Presley announced the sad news that her mother, Anna Lillian Iversen, had passed away at 95 years old. Elvis Presley’s first and only wife shared the news on Twitter with her thousands of followers.

In a follow-up tweet under the same post on Tuesday night, Presley said thank you for everyone’s thoughts and condolences. Additionally, she revealed that she was with her mother as “she took her last breath.”

“Thank you all for your condolences, I am overwhelmed and touched by your words and support. I am thankful she passed peacefully. I was with her as she took her last breath,” Priscilla Presley added earlier tonight.

When she was only 19 years old, Ann Wagner gave birth to Priscilla Presley. At the time, she was married to a Navy pilot named James Wagner. The pair wed on August 10, 1944 when he was 23 years old.

Sadly, Wagner died in a plane crash not long after Priscilla’s birth. In fact, her pilot father died only six months after her birth. Eventually, Presley’s mother got remarried to an Air Force officer named Paul Beaulieu from Canada. Beaulieu helped raise Priscilla, and years later she even took his last name as her own.

In recent years, Priscilla Presley’s mother’s health had declined. In 2019, she helped move Iversen into her own home so she could care for her in her final years.

“Priscilla is stepping up to take care of her ailing mother Ann,” an insider exclusively told Closer Weekly. “She put Ann and her late father Paul’s house in Brentwood on the market and is in the process of moving her mother into her own home.”
