Actress Reese Witherspoon just posted an adorable photo with her nearly-identical daughter that’s making her consider getting a new look. The 45-year-old Legally Blonde and Big Little Lies star has three children. Her eldest, Ava, looks eerily like her mother.

The photo finds Witherspoon and her daughter on a beautiful sandy beach. While Reese has her hair parted to the side, Ava’s rocking some beautiful curtain bangs.

“My girl,” Witherspoon wrote. “also: should I get bangs?”

Fans overwhelmingly responded with a resounding “yes!”

Reese Witherspoon Once Played June Carter in ‘Walk The Line’

Witherspoon has starred in what seems like countless films and shows. She has some serious acting talent. The actress recently revealed that her most rewarding role was playing June Carter. Many would agree that one of her best performances was her work as June Carter in the Johnny Cash biopic Walk the Line.

Witherspoon took home an Oscar for that role in 2006. It was her first of two Oscars in the Best Actress Category. She took home her second Oscar for her performance in Wild in 2015.

Last November, she reflected on that experience on Twitter.

“Wow! Today marks 15 years since the release of #WalktheLine Playing the role of June Carter was one of the most rewarding experiences of my lifetime,” the actress wrote. “From the stunning costumes created by @ariannephillips to recording all of those classic country songs with T. Bone Burnett, to the incredible scenes written and directed by James Mangold, I felt completely transformed into an authentic country artist”

One of her favorite scenes to film was the proposal scene.

“I will never forget the proposal scene… how Joaquin looked with the light beaming behind him asking June to marry him in front of a full audience. You could hear a pin drop. Thank you to the entire cast and crew for bringing Johnny & June’s love story to life,” she finished.

‘Walk The Line’ Was The Most Successful Biopic of Its Time

Walk The Line starred Juaquin Phoenix as Johnny Cash. Witherspoon played his incredibly important and strong-minded wife, June. The movie follows the country superstar as he battles addiction and the struggles that come with fame.

After the release of the film, Walk The Line became the highest-grossing biopic of all time. Witherspoon and Phoenix both provided vocal performances for the film as well, making Reese’s portrayal of June carter even more impressive.

During her acceptance speech, Witherspoon praised Carter, who she said was “a real woman, who had dignity, and honor and fear and courage.”

“My grandmother taught me to have strength and self-respect and to never give those qualities away. And those were a lot of qualities that I saw in June Carter,” she said. Now, Witherspoon is trying to pass those values on to the next generation.
