Home Improvement rejoice! Tim the Toolman Allan and ‘Al’ actor Richard Karn are together again. The two decades-long friends have a new show hitting History Channel next year!
While both stars have shared looks at themselves on set, we’ve yet to have an official release date. That wait, however, is now over.
The two are executive producing a new competition show called Assembly Required. According to UPI.com, the show is a competition reality series that will “showcase builders from across the U.S.”
Home Improvement co-stars Tim Allen and Richard Karn are teaming up again to star in a new competition series on History, titled Assembly Required.
Assembly Required will showcase builders from across the United States as they compete against each other and rebuild everyday household items. Contestants will also be tasked with building the items back better.UPI
Richard Karn Reveals ‘Assembly Required’ Premiere
Now, thanks to star Richard Karn, we have the official air date for the show’s premiere. Assembly Required will hit History Channel this coming February 14th of 2021!
Tim Allen announced the show back in August of this year with a tweet. “I’ve always admired people who repair something instead of replace it,” he says. “So, I created a competition show with HISTORY [channel] and my old buddy [Richard Karn], to challenge the people who love to get stuff done!”
Fans of the legendary Home Improvement duo should be thrilled at the news. While Allen has kept busy with his multi-network show Last Man Standing, the show is coming to an end after 9 seasons. Luckily, he’s staying on air with History Channel. And we can’t wait to see what these two get up to together.
