Ron Howard is a man who needs no introduction. His life is encompassed in the world of show business. And somehow, through his family’s ties to the business and his successes that would follow, he’s remained grounded. A new memoir about his life was recently released – and his daughter, Bryce Dallas Howard is reacting in the sweetest way.

When Ron Howard began starring on television, he was quite young. The actor was a natural – becoming Opie on “The Andy Griffith Show” and Richie Cunningham on “Happy Days” as a teen. However, it would be through directing that Howard found his long-term career. He made early hits like “Splash” starring Tom Hanks, before procuring worldwide acclaim for hits like “Apollo 13” and “Cinderella Man.” It was for his work on “A Beautiful Mind” that the director scored an Academy Award.

Soon, the actor and director’s love of the industry was passed on to his daughter. Bryce Dallas Howard worked with M. Night Shyamalan for both “The Village” and “Lady in the Water.” She then garnered immense fame in the “Jurassic World” trilogy.

Now, Ron Howard’s daughter is sharing her praise for her father’s book with a new Instagram post.

“Possibly my favorite #TBT: Howard Home Videos I’ve always treasured my dad and uncle’s stories about their childhood, the love story of my grandparents, and what it was like to grow up on TV. It’s all the more meaningful to have those stories written down to share with others,” Bryce Dallas Howard said in the post.

The actress is obviously extremely proud of her family’s legacy. She stresses the importance of family – not fame – when it comes to succeeding in the business.

Bryce Dallas Howard Carries on Family Legacy

With her family ties to the business, Bryce Dallas Howard pursued acting as anyone else would. She was interested early in the industry. As a young adult, she attended New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. It was there she honed her skills as an actress.

After working with M. Night Shyamalan, who gave her a starring role in “The Village,” Bryce proved she had versatility. It has led to a successful career in Hollywood.

Much like her father, Bryce now pursues directing in addition to acting. Further, the actress is a tried and true family gal. She’s been married to her love Seth Gable for more than a decade.

The two celebrated their 15th anniversary earlier this summer, with Bryce posting a sweet note on her Twitter page.

“To the man who has made me and our family feel so adored each and every day, Happy 15th Anniversary,” Bryce Dallas Howard said.
