Ryan Reynolds Explains How To Punch Dwayne Johnson and Get Away With It

Ryan Reynolds believes that he knows how to punch Dwayne Johnson and get away with it.

In a new TikTok video posted to the actor’s account, Reynolds is asked if he ever punched Johnson while filming their new Netflix movie, Red Notice.

“Never,” he assured. “I would never do that, because that would be the end of my life as I know it.”

Although he didn’t get the opportunity to fight him during the movie, he believes that he could punch him and potentially get away with it. Despite The Rock being a professional wrestler and double his size, he has a plan. It’s all about having “an excellent getaway plan,” according to Reynolds.

He seemingly called out his lack of speed in his response. “I don’t think he could catch you if you just walk really fast.”

How Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot Helped Dwayne Johnson

People reported that the very first day of filming Red Notice was the date that Johnson’s father passed away. He was the history-making wrestler Rocky Johnson passed away from a pulmonary embolism. He left filming to grieve with his family and attend his funeral services.

“The moment I walked in the door, Ryan gave me a big hug and said, ‘I got you, man,’” Johnson recalled. “The love, bond and brotherhood is there.”

His other co-star Gal Gadot helped him by constantly keeping him positive

“Gal is always taking care of the people around her and has the most positive presence,” he shared. “Gal would get the giggles, then I would get the giggles, and then we would all go,” says Johnson. “I’ve never laughed as hard as I did on this film.”

A Dream Come True

To promote their Netflix action film, the stars did quite a bit of press. This included a hilarious Antique Road Show spoof.

“I was on #AntiquesRoadShow,” Ryan Reynolds tweeted. “I haven’t been this star-struck since I got into an elevator with Johnny Cash back in ‘99.”

Ryan Reynolds’ character Nolan Booth is asked by expert Lark Mason what exactly the object is.

“What can you tell me about this?” he questioned.

“Yes, it’s an egg,” Reynolds jokingly responded. But when asked about the family history behind the stunning egg, Anyone who has seen the film knows that Reynolds stole the egg from a museum in an elaborate heist.

“Well, no, this is not a family heirloom,” Booth said with a laugh. “My family disowned me years ago. They don’t like me.”

He told the Antique Road Show expert that the egg was an heirloom on loan to him by his good friend at a museum. However, if there are no issues with the egg, Mason said it could be worth $100 million.
