Country star Shania Twain loves her horse. And to prove it, she’s posted a photo to Twitter of the two of them sharing a breakfast snack.

Shania Twain and Horses Go Way Back

“My breakfast buddy,” Shain tweeted Sunday, alongside a photo of a beautiful brown horse.

Horses are a big part of Twain’s life at home in Switzerland. Last April, Twain made a remote appearance on the television special “ACM Presents: Our Country” with a different horse, who seemed to want to take part in Twain’s performances of “Honey, I’m Home” and “Man! I Feel Like a Woman!”

As People magazine put it, Twain’s horse stole the show.

Twain reportedly has been riding horses since she was 12 years old. And more recently, Twain rode a horse on the Las Vegas strip to meet with fans.

In talking about the adaptation of the book “Heart of Texas,” which she executive produced, composed for and appears in, Twain told Fox News last year that she is “horse crazy.”

“I was never a rancher,” Twain said. “But I’m horse crazy so I’m already dreaming about the horse I’m going to ride in the series. I can’t wait.”

Twain Talks About Britney Spears

But horses aren’t the only thing on Twain’s mind. On a recent episode of “Home Now Radio,” her Apple Music radio show, Twain got to talking about Britney Spears.

Twain said that she listens to all of the Spears albums and has seen Spears perform more than once. In fact, she pointed out, Spears had a Las Vegas residency, just like her.

“Britney Spears is another residency artist in Las Vegas that I have seen a few times,” Twain said. “She was initially in Zappos theater where I ended up myself and I loved the room. I thought her show was great and I was motivated to get on that same stage, so her show inspired me a lot. It was a fantastic show.”

Twain’s Las Vegas residency was cut short by the coronavirus pandemic. Since then, the country star has been holed up at her home in Switzerland with her husband Frederic Thiebaud, who she married in 2011.
