Horrible news from Sharon Stone, her 11-month-old nephew has passed away. He was the son of Sharon’s brother, Patrick, and wife Tasha.
After finding the child in his crib with total organ failure, he went into a coma. It was just a short battle between last week and his passing today. There isn’t a lot of information at this time, and it is unknown what the actual cause of death was.
Sharon Stone herself shared a sweet video of her nephew smiling and playing. In the post’s replies, there was an outpouring of support for Stone and her family.
Last week after announcing the child’s condition, the caption of the post read, “My nephew and godson River Stone was found in his crib [with] total organ failure today. Please pray for him. We need a miracle.” Unfortunately, that miracle did not come.
Stone’s sister-in-law, Tasha also asked for prayers as her son was fighting in the hospital. The family is from Ohio and the 11-month-old was being cared for at Children’s UPMC in Pittsburgh.
His mother said, “This is the HARDEST thing I have ever had to post but I am BEGGING everyone and anyone who prays please pray HARD for River. Every second of this is literally killing me. I just want my sweet sweet boy back.”
Truly a tragedy that no parent should ever go through.
This has not been an easy year for Sharon Stone and her family. It seems as though illness and bad news have had a hold on her family. Hopefully, the Stone family will be able to shake the cloud that hangs over their heads.
Sharon Stone: Family Health Issues
In just the last year or so, Sharon Stone’s family has been hit hard with various health issues. It isn’t just her baby nephew, unfortunately, that has suffered. Multiple members of her family have been hit with health issues stemming from cases of COVID-19 to other health problems. Last year, Stone’s grandmother and godmother both passed due to the virus.
There was also a time period where her sister and brother-in-law, Kelly and Bruce had contracted the virus. While they had a small fight with the disease, they did ultimately recover. Based on other posts from Tasha’s social media, her husband Patrick has also been dealing with health issues of his own. There is no word on what that might be and the illness is unknown at that time.
With Sharon Stone posting and asking for prayers and well-wishes, there has been an outpouring of messages from fans, as well as, celebrities from all aspects of media. Sharon Osbourne, director Ava DuVerney, Kate Hudson, Selma Blair, and thousands of others took to the comments. Stone was on location in Venice, Italy filming for an ad campaign for Dolce and Gabbana fragrances.
