Kicking off summer 2021 on a sizzling note, actress Sharon Stone took to Instagram to celebrate the new season by showing off her swimsuit bod. 

“Happy Summer,” Sharon Stone captions the image, which features the actress rocking a super cute yellow bikini with her dog is looking through the window. 

Fans of Sharon Stone also share their admiration for the actress. Even Jamie Lee Curtis commenting on the pic, “OK… Just… WOW.” And Leslie Jordan stating, “Even the dog knows you got IT”

Sharon Stone Talks Meryl Streep in Latest Interview 

In a recent interview with Zoomer, Sharon Stone discussed the idolization of fellow actress Meryl Streep, who she worked with on the set of 2019’s film The Laundromat. The interviewer began to ask Sharon, “So when you finally got to work with Meryl Streep, you realized -” Just for Stone to interrupt. “I like the way you phrase that [queston], that I finally got to work with Meryl Streep,” Sharon proclaims. “You didn’t say, ‘Meryl finally got to work with Sharon Stone.’ Or we finally got to work together.”

Sharon continues, “Because that’s the way her life went, she got built up to be, ‘Everyone wants to work with Meryl.’ I wonder if she likes that? The way you structured that question is very much the answer to the question. The business was set up that we should all envy and admire Meryl because only Meryl got to be the good one. And everyone should compete again Meryl.”

“I think Meryl is an amazingly wonderful woman and actress,” Sharon states. “But in my opinion, quite frankly, there are other actresses equally as talented as Meryl Streep. The whole Meryl Streep iconography is part of what Hollywood does to women.”

Sharon also lists other icon actresses. “Viola Davis is every bit the actress Meryl Streep is. Emma Thompson. Judy David. Olivia Colman Kate Winslet, for f—’s sake. But you say Meryl and everyone falls on the floor.”

Sharon Stone also confirms that she was not dissing Meryl in the interview. “To be clear; Meryl Streep is one of the greatest actors of all time. Just not to the exclusion of others,” Stone shares in a tweet.

According to its description on IMDb, The Laundromat follows Ellen Martin (who is played by Meryl Streep) that is investigating insurance fraud and eventually starts chases leads to a pair of Panama City law partners who are looking to exploit the world’s financial system. Others starring alongside Meryl and Sharon in the film include David Schwimmer, Antonio Banderas, Gary Oldman, Cristela Alonzo, Larry Clarke, and Will Forte. The Laundromat was directed by Steven Soderbergh.
