On Thursday, news broke that Sons of Anarchy actress Katey Sagal was hit by a car and taken to the hospital for minor injuries. While the star is doing well, her fans were quick to show their love by sending well wishes for her recovery.

On October 14th, Katey Sagal was crossing the street in Los Angeles when a Tesla struck her. The car was making a left turn and the driver did not see Sagal on the crosswalk. The driver did not stop to help the actress, but authorities still did not issue a ticket for the incident.

Luckily, the actress is ok. But she had to spend some time in a local hospital. Her legion of fans was both angry and worried about the events that led to her injuries. And they quickly posted their concerns on social media.

“Someone hit Katey Sagal with their car, and I want to gather up a posse and track them down” @JamesSACorey Tweeted. “Katey is a national treasure. Do not hit her with your car.”

Then @dixi_lee sent good wishes while commending her new role in The Conners. “Hope she’s going to be okay,” she wrote. “She is such a great fit as Dan’s new wife. Whoever thought up Katy and the wedding was simply brilliant. Get well soon.”

And it wasn’t long before her fellow Hollywood stars sent love to their friend. On Friday, Patricia Arquette joined when she Tweeted a message to the Sons of Anarchy actress.

“Sending prayers out to #KateySagal for a full recovery,” she wrote.

Sons of Anarchy Star’s New Series Will Not Return for a Second Season

Katey Sagal has celebrated constant success in Hollywood over the decades. But ABC canceled her newest endeavor, Rebel, before it had a chance to shine. And in an Instagram post, Sagal thanked her “fans and supporters” for helping the series “have its best possible shot.”

“Krista Vernoff gave us a great story to tell, and we told it!” the actress wrote. “Many of you were moved.”

She continued by writing that she hopes the “sho biz” has taught everyone to stand up for what they want and believe in.

“All that to say, carry on, one voice is how we get to many,” she added. “With so much Rebel work to be done. One voice at a time.”

Though Katey Sagal is heartbroken over the loss of her series, she is happy Rebel had a chance. And her own career is far from over. Recently, Sagal joined the cast of The Conners and landed a role in an upcoming movie.
