For the second time in the last month, Canadian singer Bryan Adams has tested positive for COVID-19. He has been hospitalized in Milano, Italy.

While his condition is not known at this time, he did post an update on his Instagram announcing he had tested positive. In that post, he talked about his new positive test result.

“Here I am,” his post started. “Just arrived in Milano, and I’ve tested positive for the second time in a month for Covid. So it’s off to the hospital for me. Thanks for all your support. #sohappyithurts.”

The pictures the rock star posted show him in the airport, then getting in the ambulance on the way to the hospital. It has almost been a month since he last tested positive. On October 30 Bryan Adams pulled out of an appearance at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Tina Turner was being inducted and he was going to put on a special performance. Turner and Adams were set to perform their duet, It’s Only Love from his 1984 album, Reckless.

Bryan Adams Showed No Symptoms According to Rep

Deadline reported that a rep for Bryan Adams said the singer had shown no symptoms leading up to the positive result. Adams is also fully vaccinated according to that same rep. There isn’t a clear idea if this is a new infection. While it could be, there is a chance this is the result of a common issue. People have tested positive even after the contagious period.

So, what was Adams doing in Italy? The Canadian singer was headed to help promote Pirelli’s 2022 calendar. Adams is also an accomplished photographer. He shot photos of fellow musicians for the calendar. Among those photographed were Cher, Grimes, Jennifer Hudson, Iggy Pop, and more. While he was supposed to make an in-person appearance at a press event, he might not make those engagements. It depends on where he is health-wise on Sunday and Monday.

So, it looks like Bryan Adams is going to have to traverse this experience once again. Hopefully, the singer is healthy and the issue is not serious.

Adams Travels the World

In more recent years, Bryan Adams has become an international globetrotter. While he is Canadian, he spends a lot of time in Europe on tours and doing other projects. The good news is, he isn’t on tour at the moment. While his calendar event in Italy might be messed up a bit, it isn’t putting a halt on too much.

However, Adams is set to hit the road in Europe starting next year. On New Year’s Eve, he is scheduled to take the stage in Vancouver, Canada in his home country. Then starting at the end of January he starts a tour through Europe.
