Sylvester Stallone Gives First Look at ‘Expendables 4’ With Jason Statham

Expendables fans have been waiting a long time for a sequel to the third movie. If you happen to be one of them, you’re in luck. Early this morning, Sylvester Stallone gave a first look at the movie along with Jason Statham.

Providing a photo to his Instagram account, Stallone is seen decked out with Statham in the first pic. The second sees them in slightly more casual clothing, to put it one way. The two seem happy, with Stallone captioning the post “Having a great time at work with my great friend Jason on the new EXPENDABLES!!!”

Filtering the first photo a bit differently, Statham similarly posted it, saying “Back in business with the main man @officialslystallone #expendables4.” Both actors’ comment sections are filled with heart and fire emojis, so it’s safe to say people are excited. That’s not even taking into consideration Statham’s post. It alone accrued more than 3 million likes as of now, despite being less than a day old.

Besides them, Dolph Lundgren and Randy Couture are set to return. Newcomers Megan Fox, Tony Jaa, and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson will also join the fray. Like previous films, the fourth follows a group of experienced mercenaries, though exact details aren’t currently known. We also don’t know the movie’s release date, but Scott Waugh is directing.

Jason Constantine, president of acquisitions and co-productions for the Lionsgate Motion Picture Group, recently expressed his excitement. “It’s so much fun to bring these stars together for a no-holds-barred action film. The new film will raise the stakes and be the biggest, most badass adventure yet.” Millennium president Jeffrey Greenstein also claims “Popcorn entertainment is guaranteed.”

If we’re lucky, more Expendables 4 screenshots will crop up soon.

More Than 500 of Sylvester Stallone’s Items to go to Auction, Including ‘Rocky’ Memorabilia

If you’ve ever wanted some Sylvester Stallone memorabilia, you’ll get your chance in a few months. The legendary actor aims to sell 500 items at an auction, including valuable Rocky items.

London’s Julien’s Auction House will sell the items in December. Executive director Martin Nolan told Reuters “He’s a sports guy, that’s what he represents, sports and hard graft and people can relate to that. And that’s why he’s so collectible and really, people have very little opportunity to own anything from his life and career until now.”

In total, Nolan expects the auction to raise roughly $1.5 million. The included memorabilia includes things like handwritten Rocky notes, costumes, scripts, and valuable props. Notably, Stallone previously donated some of the best Rocky items to the Smithsonian Museum of American History. When I say the best, I mean it, as a handful of them include a boxing robe from the first movie, boxing gloves from the second, and shorts and shoes from the third.
