Sharon Osbourne is firing back after her former co-host alleged that she hasn’t heard from Osbourne since their heated debate.
“The Talk” co-host Sheryl Underwood finally broke her silence during her three-part podcast series, titled “Sharon Walks Away.” Now, Osbourne is hitting back at Underwood’s claim that she hasn’t heard from the Osbourne since their debate.
If you’re unfamiliar with the scandal, Underwood and Osbourne got into an argument after Osbourne supported Piers Morgan. Morgan criticized Meghan Markle following her tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Sharon Osbourne and Sheryl Underwood’s back-and-forth got increasingly heated, as Underwood alleged that Morgan’s opinion on Markle was racist. During the televised conversation, Osbourne came out to ask if she was a racist for supporting Morgan’s claims.
Afterward, the show went on a brief hiatus to conduct an internal investigation. Later, Osbourne decided she would not come back to the show.

“I felt, because there was an investigation, be quiet,” Underwood revealed during her podcast.”I want to be clear, I don’t have power to hire, I don’t have power to fire.” Underwood revealed that none of her questions during the debate came from producers. The only direction she got from producers was to guide the conversation not to become aggressive.
“In talking about what I wanted to ask in a way that was not perceived as attacking — I was already thinking, I thought this was gonna go left. In my gut, I thought this was going to go left,” she explained. “And so I wanted to put it in its proper order, be very calm, but there were a few people that criticized me on that — ‘Why do you give any f—s about somebody’s feelings? They give no f—s about yours.’ It’s not about the reaction of the person, it’s about me and who I’m trying to evolve and mature to be.”
She also added that she has yet to hear from her former co-host. “I’ve been looking through my phone,” she said after Osbourne claimed she reached out to her. Underwood said she received text messages from someone, however, she didn’t reveal who sent the messages.
“I understand what you’re going through and I know you need your space,” the mysterious person wrote in the messages.

“I not only sent these messages to Sheryl but I apologized to her in person in her dressing room,” she told the Daily Mail. “Why are you saying I never apologized Sheryl? What are you trying to do to me? Why are you trying to destroy my reputation? Just be honest. Tell me.”
Osbourne wrote that her “heart is heavy” and she was “deeply saddened” by the events.
“I’m sorry for telling you to f— off during the break, I’m sorry for accusing you of fake crying while we were live on air and I’m sorry for losing my temper with you,” she continued.
Sharon Osbourne also alleged that she continued trying to reach out to Underwood, writing that she understood Underwood needed space but hoped they could talk and find a way for Underwood to “heal.”
