Fans of The Voice were treated to some incredible performances from a menagerie of rising stars during last night’s long-awaited Top 20 Live Playoffs on NBC.

Among these stars was one of our favorite young Elvis impersonators, Georgia teen Peedy Chavis.

A member of Team Blake, Peedy Chavis started his career on the stage as an accomplished Elvis impersonator.

His unique stage style is always channeling something Elvis Presley related. From Chavis’s moves to his gospel/rocker voice, it is rare to see one of Chavis’s performances and not immediately be reminded of The King.

While Elvis songs may be Peedy Chavis’s specialty, the singer certainly showed his ability to take on almost any song when he nailed Creedence Clearwater’s Proud Mary during last night’s The Voice.

And, the popular NBC singing competition series was excited to share this talent last night on their Twitter page.

“Peedy Chavis has SO much charm,” the Monday night Tweet says.

The November 8 post includes a video of Peedy Chavis’s spot-on performance.

Of course, The Voice star adds a bit of his classic specialty giving Proud Mary a bit of an Elvis Presley sound. The singer was also dressed in his usual Elvis Presely stage attire. Chavis performed Monday wearing a pair of black leather pants, a white t-shirt, and an awesome leather jacket.

Chavis Has Been Impressing On ‘The Voice’ From The Start

Peedy Chavis has impressed The Voice judges since his initial tryouts in September.

Chavis’s rendition of Elvis Presley’s Heartbreak Hotel inspired country music superstar Blake Shelton to turn his chair almost immediately in the Blind Audition segment of the popular singing competition series.

During this season of The Voice, Peedy Chavis has impressed audiences with some intense cover renditions of some hits by music icons such as Joe Cocker and Three Dog Night.

Last night’s episode of The Voice featured the Top 20 contestants in the first Live Round competitions.

The rest of Team Blake’s performers include country singer Lana Scott; fifteen-year-old singer Hailey Green, Shelton’s steal performer, Paris Winningham, and LaBianca.

Other performances given Monday evening include Team Ariana’s Raquel Trinidad, Ryleigh Plank, Vaughn Mogul, Bella DaNapoli, and father-son duo Jim and Sasha Allen. Grande’s team also included a performance from Holly Forbes, who was Ariana Grande’s steal from Team Kelly.

Team Kelly included performances from thirteen-year-old Hailey Mia; Girl Named Tom; Gymani; Jeremy Rosade; Katie Rae; and Aaron Hines.

Finally, the Team Legend performers included BrittanyBree; Sabrina Dias; Samuel Harness; Samara Brown; Jershika Maple; Shadale; and Joshua Vacanti.
