by Jacklyn Krol

The Voice coach Nick Jonas spoke about the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

The Jonas Brothers performed their single “Remember This” during the closing ceremony. The track became an official song for NBC’s coverage of the games. This is also the title for their upcoming United States tour.

“What an honor…” Nick Jonas tweeted. “Our performance of Remember This (NBC Olympics Edition) just aired as part of the Closing Ceremony on @NBC!!”

Jonas added that he and his brothers are so proud of Team USA alongside a flexing muscle emoji.

Meanwhile, Kevin Jonas said that it is “a moment I’ll never forget” alongside a mind-blown emoji.

Joe Jonas added, “Getting to perform this song at the Olympics Closing Ceremony is quite the bucket list moment for me!!”

Last month, the trio of brothers took part in an NBC special, Olympic Dreams Featuring Jonas Brothers. They competed against one another in BMX, gymnastics, and track and field.

During the program, Nick sustained a broken rib after crashing during the BMX final.

“I always give 110 percent and sometimes that gets you the gold,” he said in a press conference. “In this case, it got me a fractured rib, a bruised tailbone, and a hospital dinner. But I’m recovering.”

The special was filmed back in May, during which Jonas was coaching on The Voice. he showed up to set injured but recovering.

Next Season Of ‘The Voice’

Season 21 of The Voice is set to premiere on Monday, September 20 on NBC. This season will feature coaches Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson and John Legend. Pop superstar Ariana Grande will be joining the cast for the first time. Jonas first appeared on the show in Season 18 before returning for Season 20. The cast of coaches is rotating and Grande will be taking his chair this season.

Nick Jonas shared his thoughts on the “7 Rings” singer becoming a coach and filling his chair – at least temporarily. “I mean Ariana – as we all know – is one of the best singers in the game and she’s gonna be an incredible coach.”

Going into such a competition like this is difficult for anyone. Jonas offered some words of wisdom for the new The Voice coach.

“I think the only advice I would give is just not to trust any one of you,” Jonas said. John Legend added that he, Clarkson, and Shelton have been feeding her advice.

“Let’s hope I don’t step on her,” Blake Shelton joked. “She looks so tiny on there.”

Why isn’t Gwen Stefani or Nick Jonas returning to The Voice? Jonas will be on the Jonas Brothers’ Remember This tour with Kelsea Ballerini, who served as a mentor on the show. Stefani is working on new music and has her Las Vegas concert residency.
