As more details come out about the upcoming season of NBC’s “The Voice,” fans anxiously anticipate what to expect in the next season. Below, we’re laying out everything you need to know about what to expect in the new season.

Grammy-winning artist Ariana Grande has officially signed on to join the coaches and will be replacing Nick Jonas when the new season premieres.

The pop sensation will coach alongside longtime panelists Blake Shelton, John Legend, and Kelly Clarkson. Although it will be different seeing Grande take Jonas’ spot, it will be interesting seeing her chemistry with her fellow coaches and contestants.

At the time of the announcement, Grande shared her exciting news on her social media account, making sure to shout out her predecessor at the time. “surprise !!! i am beyond thrilled, honored, excited to be joining @kellyclarkson @johnlegend @blakeshelton next season ~ season 21 of @nbcthevoice ! 🤍 @nickjonas we will miss you”

Per Billboard, Grande also shared a statement about her upcoming spot via NBC. “I’m so honored and excited to join The Voice family! I have been a huge fan of the show for such a long time. I can’t wait to go head-to-head with the incredible coaches, get to know these new artists and help to take their craft to the next level.”

The new season of “The Voice” will reportedly air in September, most likely in the second part of the month.

Although fans will have to wait for the new season to air, the show is already in full swing as the coaches and contestants take their spot on the set. On June 21, the cast and crew returned to the stage for season 21’s Blind Auditions. According to outlets, Grande is reportedly meshing well with her fellow coaches.

“Ariana was so fun and sweet,” one eyewitness told E! News. “She was interacting with the fans so much and was having the cutest moments on and off camera with the coaches. She was so sweet to anyone who came up to her from the production team, as well. Ariana and Kelly Clarkson were taking selfies. It was so cute.”

As for how she’s getting along with the other panelists, one insider said that Grande and country music star Blake Shelton “are so funny together.”

Another onlooker expressed a similar sentiment, revealing that the newlywed “seemed excited and interested in how everything worked.” In addition, Shelton, Clarkson, and Legend “seemed completely welcoming towards her,” even if they did clown on her a couple of times, as the second onlooker described it. We can’t wait to see what kind of witty, comedic banter Grande brings to the popular NBC singing competition.
