Finally, “The Voice” has made its triumphant return to NBC. The show teased Season 20 on Monday night with Nick Jonas returning, too.

NBC offered a first look to fans of “The Voice” that not only features Jonas but fellow coaches Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, and John Legend.

The segment shows Shelton, Clarkson, and Legend welcome Jonas back to the show. Now Nick took off Season 19 and Gwen Stefani, who is engaged to Shelton, stepped up to fill his chair.

Take a look at this impressive first look into the preparations and hijinks for Season 20 of “The Voice” on NBC.

Fans were responding to the exciting preview on social media.

One of them tweeted out, “time for #teamnick to take y’all down”.

Another one offered this opinion, tweeting, “This should be the permanent four. Love all of them and they have great chemistry.”

Yet another “The Voice” fan put her tweet down for Jonas, period. She tweeted, “LETS GET IT, LETS GO TEAM NICK!”

As viewers know, it’s a long and winding road to the finish for both coaches and contestants. They also know that the coaches want to give their team the best chance to have a winning performer. So, the work begins on Monday night’s first episode.

Carson Daly returns as host of “The Voice” for this season, too.

Team Blake Gets Dan + Shay To Help On ‘The Voice’

Obviously, teams need help for their performers to excel. Some of the coaches are really strong in certain areas; others, not so much.

That’s why Shelton got some backup help this season. Dan + Shay have signed on to be battle advisors for Shelton. The duo will help young artists learn about the fine art of harmonizing.

The way (Dan + Shay) come together and vocalize together and make music, I thought that would be a great mentor to have, these two,” Shelton said.

Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney are close to Shelton. Getting in with “The Voice” made Smyers recall the first time he and Mooney crossed paths with Shelton on a tour.

“He took us out on literally our first tour, the Ten Times Crazier Tour, and I don’t even think we had a hit on the radio at that point,” Smyers said. “He took a chance on us and we became super close out there.

“Blake, as successful as he is, is the most humble, down-to-Earth dude out there and just an incredible person, and incredible role model,” Smyers said.
