‘The Voice’ Takes Huge Demo Win in Tuesday Ratings, While ‘FBI’ Sees Season-High Numbers

The Voice had a huge demo win in last night’s ratings. FBI also saw its best numbers of the season. With 6.6 Million viewers and a .8 demo rating, The Voice brought in very solid numbers for its second night of live round that said goodbye to two more acts. Meanwhile, on CBS, FBI drew in 7.4 million viewers with a .6 demo rating. That’s an audience high, but a drop in the demo.

Following The Voice on NBC, La Brea, which has been recently renewed despite intense online criticism, wracked in 4.6 million viewers and a .6 demo rating. New Amsterdam, meanwhile, drew in 3.2 million views with a .4 demo rating.

The FBI franchise takes over Tuesday nights on CBS. FBI: International drew in 5.8 million views and a .5 demo while FBI: Most Wanted drew in 5.4 million views with a .5 demo, ticking up in the ratings.

This is all according to TV Line, which also noted that Riverdale and Flash made successful returns.

‘The Voice’ Said Goodbye to Two Acts

Monday night of The Voice saw some of the best performances of the season so far. So last night, it was hard to tell who would be going home and getting cut from the competition. At this stage in the game, it’s always hard to see contestants go home because they’ve made it so far.

Ten acts got voted into the next round with one act making it in with the instant wildcard save. With Gymani getting the save, Shadale and Ryleigh Plank were voted out of the competition.

On Monday, Plank sang Rhiannon by Fleetwood Mac. It was a strong cover and one of her best performances yet, but unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to get her to the next round.

Here’s Who to Keep an Eye on Next Week

Now, going into the top 11 we have Gymani, Girl Named Tom, Jershika Maple, Jim and Sasha Allen, Holly Forbes, Wendy Moten, Hailey Mia, Joshua Vacanti, Paris Winningham, Jeremy Rosado, and Lana Scott. Going forward into the competition, there are plenty of favorites.

Wendy Moten of team Blake is definitely someone to keep your eyes on this season of The Voice. She’s arguably the favorite going into the next round. She has managed to blow the competition out of the water in every single stretch of the season so far. But she has some competition.

Sibling trio Girl Named Tom, who were also a four-chair turn, is seriously wowing over on Team Kelly. Their harmonies seem to get better and better with all three siblings being incredibly strong vocalists. If they do beat Moten in the finals (if they make it), they could be poised to become the first group to ever win The Voice.

If you want to tune in to the next rounds of The Voice, the show airs on Monday and Tuesday nights at 8/7 central on NBC.
