‘The Voice’ Judges Reveal Their Most Memorable Christmas Gifts

The four judges on NBC’s The Voice recently revealed some of their most memorable Christmas gifts over the years in an Instagram video.

Fans heard from The Voice coaches in a video on Instagram on Christmas Eve about the gifts that have really stuck with them, both the good and bad.

Kelly Clarkson recalled her mother buying her first keyboard which she used to write her first songs. She says she still has it to this day.

“I knew that my momma put it on a credit card and couldn’t afford it and it was a keyboard,” Clarkson says in the video. “I wrote my first songs on that keyboard. So that’s mine — I still have that keyboard.”

Coach John Legend says that his wife, Chrissy Teigen, is pretty consistent with his gifts each year.

“My wife Chrissy gives me great gifts she always gets me a robe every year,” Legend says.

Country star Blake Shelton was short and sweet when asked about what his most memorable gift was.

“A box of potpourri that had a turd in it,” Shelton says with a straight face.

Gwen Stefani, Shelton’s fiance, said that one of her most memorable gifts was when her soon-to-be husband got her a horse saddle.

“You know one year he gave me a horse saddle, but, umm… I fell off my horse so I haven’t been using that much lately,” Stefani said while laughing.

Blake Shelton Missing The Voice Already

The country star is already missing his Monday night job as a coach and judge for The Voice and he recently shared his thoughts on social media.

Shelton told his followers on Twitter that he can’t believe there is not an episode this week.

“First Monday without @NBCTheVoice… Just doesn’t seem right! #TeamBlake,” Shelton wrote.

Although Shelton came away with the win in 2019, it was his fiance Stefani who won in 2020. In the show’s 19th season, Carter Rubin captured the victory for Team Gwen.

Knowing that Shelton is uber-competitive, Stefani decided to rub the victory in his face just a little bit. As the couple left the show’s studio, Stefani had a brief message for Blake.

“I just beat Blake Shelton at The Voice,” she said in a short video posted to her Instagram. Additionally, Stefani also mentions how grateful she is for Rubin’s singing talents helping to get her a win.

In a joking manner, Shelton pretends to be upset, saying the show must have been “rigged” in Stefani’s favor. Meanwhile, the couple goes on to share a laugh afterward. Shelton took to social media to congratulate his bride-to-be along with her star pupil, Rubin.

Shelton and Stefani are set to get married sometime in 2021 at Shelton’s Ranch in Oklahoma.
