Since first airing in 2011, “The Voice” has seen its fair share of talent take the public, broadcast stage.
Also included in that talent are the many coaches the show has used to help new singers learn the craft. That includes famous artists such as Christina Aguilera, CeeLo Green, Adam Levine, Pharrell Williams, Shakira, Usher, Alicia Keys, and Miley Cyrus are a few faces that have come and gone.
Right now, future contestants on “The Voice” will be met with Kelly Clarkson, Blake Shelton, John Legend, and Ariana Grande staring back at them eagerly. Many coaches have had close bonds while on the show. This includes Blake Shelton and Adam Levine. The two longtime “The Voice” coaches continue to have a bromance beyond words.
Clarkson and Shelton also reportedly have a very close relationship.
Kelly Clarkson and Ariana Grande
So, how does Ariana Grande, who is making her debut as a coach this season, get along with the others?
Kelly Clarkson talked about Grande while on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” She gushed over the new addition to “The Voice” team and said that “everybody vibes so much.” She also revealed that Grande is very vocal about vocal health, which Clarkson thinks is an essential part of coaching the NBC singing show. She also shared that the two of them were “gelling.”
“I love her. She is so funny. Like very witty,” Kelly Clarskon told Fallon. Fans seem to be hyped over Grande joining the team, too. Clarkson shared that when Grande walked out in front of the live audience, the crowd went wild. “It is literally like BTS has entered the building.”
Fans will get a first look at Ariana Grande in that classic red, swiveling chair starting on September 20.
Each Coach Dishes on Ariana Grande Joining ‘The Voice’
The coaches discussed the upcoming season 21 of the show and its brand new highly-anticipated coach. She is replacing Nick Jonas on “The Voice.”
“Ariana, as we all know, is one of the best singers in the game, and she’s gonna be an incredible coach. I think the only advice I would give is just not to trust any one of you, any word you say … She’ll be great,” Jonas said.
Meanwhile, John Legend joked about the situation and his “fear” of her massive fanbase. “Ariana has a huge fanbase and they are fervent, and if they show up to vote, then we’re all in trouble,” Legend said.
As always, Blake Shelton showed up with his bold and fearless personality. “Ariana fans, bring it on! I’m not afraid of Ariana. They pay me to win.”
Only time will tell just how well Ariana Grande will do as the new “The Voice” coach. The “Positions” singer does seem to be enjoying her time so far, however. She shared a promo video on Instagram last month captioned, “I adore these humans so much and am already an emotional wreck worrying about saying goodbye to everyone the day of the finale and nothings even happened or aired yet.”
