Hey there, all you cool cats and kittens! Did you watch Tiger King and think to yourself that you’d like to see Carole Baskin’s side of the story? If so, you’re in luck. She’s getting her own docuseries and it’s coming to Discovery+ next month.

Carole Baskin’s Cage Fight hits the streaming service on November 13th. PopCulture reports that the series will deal with how Tiger King affected Baskin’s life. There’s a good chance that she’ll talk elaborate on her previous claims that the show’s crew misled her and misrepresented her on the hugely popular docuseries. Cage Fight will also likely touch on the rumors about Carole’s late husband and her business that spread after Tiger King’s release last year.

However, Carole Baskin won’t spend the entire two-part docuseries railing against Tiger King. It will also show Carole and her current husband Howard’s life. Additionally, we’ll get a look into Baskin’s animal rescue work including some of the hands-on things she does at her park. The report also states that we’ll see Carole come “into direct contact with dangerous operators.” So, it sounds like Tiger King fans will see some familiar faces in Cage Fight.

Cage Fight premiers just four days before the second installment of Tiger King. So, those who can’t get enough of the insanity and drama in the show will get a double helping just before Thanksgiving.

Carole Baskin Won’t Participate in New Tiger King

Just about everyone in America loved Tiger King when it dropped last year. It made Joe Exotic, Carole Baskin, and other big cat owners household names for a while. Baskin, however, was less than pleased with how she was portrayed on the show. As a result, she had no desire to be connected to the sequel.

Carole Baskin spoke up about that in a statement a couple of days after the Tiger King 2 trailer dropped. “I don’t know how they put out a Tiger King 2 when Joe [Exotic] is in jail and I’m refusing to be played again,” she said. Then, Baskin blasted the show’s co-director. “Rebecca Chaiklin said she wanted to ‘clear the air’ about what they did to me in Tiger King. I told her to lose my number. There is no explanation for such a betrayal and false portrayal.”

We will see Carole Baskin in the upcoming Tiger King sequel series. However, that is all old footage that they collected while shooting the first installment. Back in 2020, Chailin told Entertainment Weekly, “…We have a crazy amount of footage and it’s a story that’s still unfolding. We’re not sure yet, but there could be a follow-up on this story because there’s a lot that’s still unfolding in it.”
