Legendary funny man and actor Tim Allen is doing what he does and best and that is making people laugh.
The “Home Improvement” and “Last Man Standing” star has made and long and successful career from his silly antics. From playing Tim “The Tool Man” Taylor to playing Kris Kringle in “The Santa Clause,” Allen is a comedic Icon.
The now 67-year-old actor also uses social media to share laughs with his fans and followers. On Tuesday, he took to social media to share a funny moment prompted by a car wash sign and his Mother-in-Law. The photo he shares in the post is of an advertisement for a local car wash business. His Mother-in-Law — well, she didn’t get the advertising concept.
“My local car wash sign made my mother-in-law a little bit angry,” Allen says in the tweet. “When I asked why, she said she doesn’t like when people make fun of ethnic groups.”
While its obviously a misunderstanding of grammar, the tweet is still pretty hilarious. Allen didn’t say if he proceeded through the car wash with his mother-in-law in tow.
Tim Allen Bids Farewell to Hit Television Series
Allen’s hit comedy “Last Man Standing” is currently airing its ninth and final season on Fox. Allen has described filming the final season as being very emotional for he and the cast. On the show, Allen plays the lead character of Mike Baxter.
The show’s premise is built around Allen’s character navigating through a home filled with women. Baxter’s wife and three daughters provide him with plenty of love but also provide the obstacles Baxter must wade through as man of the house.
In a recent interview, Allen calls the final season filming “bittersweet” but he hopes fans of the show will be satisfied with the ending. He says a horrible feeling overcame him upon entering the set to shoot the final season. The show’s final episode will air in the near future.
