Tim Allen: See the Hollywood Star’s Net Worth

by Will Shepard

Tim Allen is one of the most recognizable actors in Hollywood. And his net worth is a staggering $100 million. Most of his fame comes from his work in comedy.

Tim Allen has become famous for his work in film and television. He is also a stand-up comedian. But, some of his most famous roles are his shows, Home Improvement and Last Man Standing.

At the peak of Home Improvement, Tim Allen was making $1.25 million per episode. On season eight alone, he made $35 million. That pay is the fifth-highest salary ever for a television actor. The show ran for eight seasons, with 204 episodes through most of the 1990s. However, Allen was offered $50 million to shoot a ninth season.

How Tim Allen Made His Fortune

Over the course of his career, he has found a lot of success. But, one of his starring roles in Galaxy Quest really paved the way for his future. The movie itself did really well and has since become a cult classic, as well as being one of the best all-around parody movies.

For this particular movie, Tim Allen’s salary was $2 million. But because the movie was so successful, and Allen was so good in it, his salary took off.

One of his more famous roles comes from the Toy Story franchise. He voices the character Buzz Lightyear for all four of the movies. In the original movie, his salary was only $500,000. Even though his salary for the final movie isn’t public knowledge, he was paid $22 million for the third movie.

Now, he is wrapping up FOX’s Last Man Standing. The show is another sitcom for Tim Allen, and he is thoroughly enjoying making it. Even though the show isn’t as popular as Home Improvement, it still gets about 5 million viewers per episode. Allen is reportedly making $250,000 per episode.

Allen also continues to earn royalties from his work across his shows and movies. So, it is essentially his pension plan. While his work is heralded all over the world, he still enjoys the financial benefits.
