The former Dancing With the Stars host, Tom Bergeron, isn’t holding back his feelings after being fired from the show. In his new Twitter bio, he writes, “Former Co-Host of “Footwork With the Famous”.
In July, Bergeron tweeted that after “an incredible 15-year run”, he and co-host Erin Andrews had been fired.
An announcement revealing the stars of the 29th season hit social media Wednesday. The cast will consist of rapper Nelly, ice skater Johnny Weir, former NFL player Vernon Davis, ‘Selling Sunset’ star Chrishell Strause, and ‘Catfish’ host Nev Schulman.
Following Bergeron’s salty new bio, Twitter users poured out their praises for the TV personality.
Also on Wednesday, Andrews told Extra that her removal from the show caught her off guard.
“I danced on the show and then worked on the show for so many years. I always call it a ‘Dancing with the Stars’ mafia — once you’re in, it’s really hard to break away. That’s a tight-knit group,” said Andrews.
She went on to call Tom Bergeron the “end-all, be-all of that show”.
Apparently, Andrews isn’t the only one who feels this way. As a result, some of Bergeron’s 264.3 thousand twitter followers are bitter about the sudden firing.
Some fans even say that they plan on boycotting the show.
Many fans also seem to be upset with Bergeron’s replacement, supermodel Tyra Banks.
