Nicole Kidman Reveals Why She Doesn’t Talk About Bella & Connor Cruise
In 2018, Nicole Kidman revealed to Australia’s WHO why she doesn’t really talk about her relationship with her children, Bella and Connor Cruise.
“I’m very private about all that,” Kidman said at the time. “I have to protect all those relationships. I know 150% that I would give my life for my children because it’s what my purpose is.”
Kidman also tells told media outlet that her oldest children are adults and are able to make their own decisions. Especially when it comes to practicing Scientology. “They have made choices to be Scientologist. And As a mother, it’s my job to love them.”
Kidman stated that she is an example of tolerance and that’s what she believed. “No matter what your child does, the child has love. And the child has to know there is available love. And I’m open here.”
The actress goes on to say that she thinks support is important because taking it away from a child and leaving them without any relationship or family is wrong. “I think that’s so important because if that is taken away from a child, to sever that in any child, in any relationship, in any family – I believe it’s wrong. So that’s our job as a parent, to always offer unconditional love.”
