The training doesn’t ever stop when it comes to Hannah Selleck, the daughter of Blue Bloods star Tom Selleck. It’s the last few weeks of summer. And even when Hannah has a day off to spend at the beach, she is still working out and staying in shape.
Hannah Selleck is obviously not quite as well-known as her father, Blue Bloods star Tom Selleck. But then again, there aren’t many people who are. Tom Selleck is one of the biggest names in the entire film and television industry. He has been in the business for decades now, but first became a big-time star thanks to his role as private investigator Thomas Magnum in the 1980s show, Magnum, P.I.
Nowadays, however, Tom Selleck portrays one of the main characters on Blue Bloods, the CBS police drama. He plays Frank Reagan, the New York City Police Commissioner. He stars on the show alongside other high-profile actors like Donnie Wahlberg, Bridget Moynahan, and Will Estes.
But as for Tom Selleck’s daughter, she did not follow in her parents’ acting footsteps. She has been training as an equestrian jumping athlete and in addition, she is also a model. And if you follow her on social media, it seems like almost every other day that Hannah Selleck is posting videos of her training with her horses. On Monday, she was not with her horses, but she was on the beach getting in some extra training. She captioned the photo with a quote from Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps.

Daughter of Tom Selleck Has an Incredible Work Ethic
It makes sense right? Hannah Selleck is an incredibly hard worker. After all, anyone who uses a day at the beach to get in some extra training is probably a hard worker too. But more than that, Hannah’s work ethic and mentality come from her father Tom Selleck, and mother, actress Jillie Mack.
Despite having two parents who are both successful actors, Hannah Selleck didn’t follow the same path as them. Her parents encouraged her to follow her own dreams, and that’s exactly what she did. Hannah always had a love for horses since she was a little girl. And over the years, she continued to hone in on that passion. That hard work has paid off, as she is now an accomplished competitor at the grand prix level.
She told Equestrian Living back in 2017 that her parents helped her follow her dreams.
“Because my parents are both artists, they believe in the idea that you have to be very passionate about what you do to be successful. They encouraged me to be passionate about it and immersed in it. And from there it was kind of on me how much I wanted it. They always let me take the lead.”
