Ahead of the 2020 Presidential Election, Tommy Lee made clear his thoughts on President Donald Trump. In a profanity-laced message, the Motley Crue drummer left little doubt on his political views.

On Twitter, he wrote, “Tommy Lee Really F–king Hates Donald Trump.”

He also linked to the Instagram group Wef–kinghateDonaldTrump. The group describes themselves as anti-climate change denial, religious hypocrisy and Republicans. Recently, they’ve used the platform to share various celebrities and people of interest who “f–king hate Donald Trump.” Lee was one of the latest celebrities to share his views with the group.

Tommy Lee Has Been a Known Critic of Donald Trump

In recent years, the drummer has freely criticized the president and his decisions. For instance, he criticized Trump’s response to California wildfires in 2018. He wrote on Twitter, “Can you be any more insensitive you f—–g moron.”

Recently, he also condemned the president’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, calling it “karma” when Trump contracted the virus himself. In a series of tweets, the drummer also urged his followers to vote in the Nov. 3 election. In an interview, the drummer promised to leave the country if Trump is re-elected for another term.

“Dude, I swear to god if that happens then I’m coming over to visit the U.K. I’m out of here,” Lee said in an interview with The Big Issue. Lee is a native of Greece. “I’ll go back to my motherland, go back to Greece, and get a house on one of the islands.”

“The thing that stings the most is that I feel like we’re embarrassing,” Lee continued. “I feel like people in Europe and the rest of the world look at America and think: ‘What are you guys doing over there? Stop voting for celebrities and get someone real to run the country.’”
