Comedy Central’s, longest running live-action show, “Tosh.0,” will come to an end after it’s upcoming 12th season.

The show is the latest in a string of cancellations being made as part of Comedy Central’s new focus on adult animation.

The decision comes despite the original deal made earlier this year to renew the show for another four seasons. The deal would have taken the show to its 16th season in 2024. The network has also recently canceled “Drunk History.” “Reno911! has returned to Quib, while “South Side” and “The Other Two” have been rehoused to HBO Max.

Meanwhile, Comedy Central has announced the renewal of its smash hit “South Park.” Among other additions are reboots of previously existing 90’s sensations, such as “Beavis and Butthead,” “The Ren & Stimpy Show,” and “Daria” spinoff, “Jodie.”

Host Confirms Tosh.0 is Done

Creator, comedian, and show host, Daniel Tosh, posted an announcement via Twitter to confirm the show’s final run.

According to sources, ViacomCBS is working with Daniel Tosh and his team to shop the series to other outlets.

Tosh also had this to say about the decision,”I look forward to doing an animated reboot of my show on MTV in 25 years,”

The latest season of “Tosh.0” will include 10 episodes, including new segment, “Web Legends,” featuring viral “Friday” singer, Rebecca Black. It will leave as the longest running live-action show in Comedy Central history with 300 episodes in 11 years.

The show’s 12th and final season will premiere on Sept. 15th and it’s finale on Nov. 24th.
