One of the most successful film franchises of all time, “Fast and Furious” owes much of that success to Vin Diesel.

Vin Diesel is one of the world’s highest-grossing actors and a mainstay in the “Fast and Furious” franchise. In the film series, he plays Dominic Toretto, or “Dom” as he is mostly known. His role as Dom has made Vin Diesel one of the most recognizable faces in show business.

His work in the “Fast and Furious” franchise has earned him the reputation as one of Hollywood’s top leading men. It’s also led to other plentiful opportunities for the star actor, such as roles in “The Chronicles of Riddick” and “Guardians of the Galaxy,” in which he plays “Groot” in a number of films. You can say things are going quite well for Vin Diesel, who turned 54-years-old earlier this year.

In a recent social media post, Vin Diesel talks about his role in the “Fast and Furious” franchise. He says a lot of his own creativity makes itself known through his Dominic Toretto character in the film. He also notes that he is very grateful for the accolades that the “Fast and Furious” films have brought him. Vin Diesel says he finds much of himself in the character, as he shares similar values to the ones he portrays with his “Fast and Furious” films.

“That Dom state of mind,” he says. “A lot of my creative life has lived within that character. His strengths, limitations and most of all his meaningful relationships that he protects at all costs. His beliefs, his values… his code. Sorry, reflecting. I just heard about the 8 people’s choice nominations and it just made me feel grateful to it all.”

“As Dom would say ‘family is everything,'” a “Fast and Furious” fan says. “Can’t wait to see what’s next in your career.”

The “Fast and furious” franchise put out its ninth film earlier this year with Vin Diesel front and center. As he notes in his Tuesday social media post, the latest “Fast and Furious” movie dominated the People Choice Award nominations. The film, which is called “F9: the Fast Saga,” is up for the 2021 Movie of the Year People’s Choice Award among other film nominations.
