“Hey, y’all. Greetings from Austin from my trailer,” the former “Supernatural” star began the video he posted to his Twitter account on Wednesday, Sept. 8. “Uh, today was day one – my day one – of ‘Walker’ season two. And, uh, I gotta admit – I was nervous.”

Luckily for the “Walker” actor, there was someone close to him who offered him some needed words of encouragement.

“I was laughing to (wife Genevieve Padalecki) because I was like, ‘This is my 22nd day one of a season of television in my life and I’m nervous,” the actor shared. “She’s like, ‘You’re gonna be great.'”

Jared Padalecki Said Fans Should Expect ‘A Big Season’ from His Show

Of course, Jared Padalecki decided to make his way to the set of “Walker.” But, he did so with some trepidation. Once again, others stepped in and encouraged the television star. That made his return to work go much more smoothly.

“So I came in. I don’t know if it was just because I had COVID brain for a month and was concerned I wouldn’t memorize my lines or remember them or be able to be physical and spend a day,” the actor explained. “But, everybody took care of me on set. And I’m so excited to be back in the saddle, um, making some fun television.”

Speaking of “fun television,” Jared Padalecki also commented on what fans of “Walker” can expect from the television show’s second season. “We have a big season coming up. … Very excited to be back at work, back in the pool. Feeling good, so here goes nothing,” he also shared.

In addition to the comments he made in the video, Jared Padalecki also thanked his fans in the accompanying caption. “First day back on set and wanted to thank everyone for their hard work and support over the last few months. I’m blown away by the love you’ve shown me and the #WalkerFamily. Ready to give this season my all and bring you with me. Couldn’t have gotten here without y’all!!!” the “Walker” actor also shared.
